    • Brightheart thanks StarClan for the prey, and Cloudtail makes a sly remark.
  • Brightheart states she loves Cloudtail & her friends.
  • Firestar calls a clan meeting to make Willowpelt's kits apprentices.
    • Sootpaw is given to Longtail, Sorrelpaw goes to Sandstorm, and Rainpaw goes to Cloudtail.

A Thief in ThunderClan/Part 2

• • Brightheart gets some decent sleep.
    • She goes to question Longtail, but feels bad, and they share sorrows instead.
  • The gathering comes back, minus Firestar.
    • Brightheart goes to the fresh-kill pile, and sees claw marks.
    • Cloudtail suggests to look for scent.
    • Ashfur makes a snide comment.
  • Firestar returns from the Moonstone.
    • He refuses to talk, and Sandstorm is overprotective.
  • Brightheart gives the claw marks a closer look.
    • She ends up catching Spiderkit instead.
  • Cloudtail, Ashfur, Brackenfur, and Sandstorm return from patrol.
    • Firestar is missing, and Sandstorm is once again defensive.
  • Cloudtail meets Brightheart privately, and Cloudtail says that Firestar went to talk with a kittypet.
    • He thinks Firestar might leave the clan, and Brightheart defends him.
  • Brightheart wakes up and checks Graystripe's claws.
    • She gets a few warriors to dig for burdock root to check their claws.
    • She then speculates Willowpelt.
  • Brightheart goes into the medicine den to see Longtail helping Cinderpelt.
  • Cats scream, and the three run out to Willowpelt's dead body.
    • It is laid out in the clearing, and her kits share grief.
  • Firestar announces Willowpelt is dead and that badgers killed her.
    • Cloudtail is chasing it, Brightheart is freaked.
    • She knows she cannot do anything, and goes to comfort Willowpelt's kits.

A Thief in ThunderClan/Part 3

• • Firestar calls for another clan meeting.
    • He announces he is leaving, and everyone argues.
    • Sootpaw is reassigned to Thornclaw.
  • Brightheart notes that Graystripe is now all they can go to about the fresh-kill thief.
  • Firestar and Sandstorm leave the clan.
  • Brightheart has another nightmare and wakes in panic.
  • Brightheart and Cloudtail check the fresh-kill pile, and everyone wakes up to them at it.
    • They assume the two of being the thief.
    • Graystripe joins in, and Brightheart, being freaked, suggests they set a trap.
  • The clan make a massive fresh-kill pile and wait for the thief.
    • Longtail protects the kits.
    • Rainpaw is scared.
  • The clan falls asleep, and Rainpaw wakes up and tries to grab prey.
    • An owl comes and snatches Rainpaw.
    • Brightheart saves him and injures the owl.
    • Rainpaw escapes with minor injuries.
  • Cloudtail and Brightheart are sharing tongues.
    • Brightheart gets cramps.
  • Cinderpelt comes running, and Brightheart begins to give birth.
    • Cinderpelt says she is only having one kit.
    • The she-kit is born.
  • The two admire their kit with all their love, and name her Whitekit.
