"I wish I could see ghosts. It would be awesome."
— Beetlekit to Rootspring in Darkness Within, page 277

Beetlepaw is a white-and-black tabby tom.[4]

History[]

In The Broken Code arc[]

Darkness Within[]

"You can see ghosts, right?"
―Beetlekit to Rootspring Darkness Within, page 276
At a medicine cat meeting, Fidgetflake announces that Nectarsong has had an easy first kitting and given birth to two kits, Beetlekit and Beekit, and reports that they are all in good health. Willowshine is happy to hear some good news during such a difficult time. Later, Beetlekit and Beekit experience their first day outside of the nursery, the morning after the Sisters' summoning ceremony. Their parents, Dewspring and Nectarsong, watch them carefully as they explore a patch of long grass, their pelts fluffed up with excitement. During one of Beekit and Beetlekit many adventures in SkyClan's camp, the kits accidentally bump into Rootspring, who is standing by the fresh-kill pile.
Beetlekit apologizes to the yellow tom, and Beekit asks Rootspring who he is. Rootspring introduces himself to the kits, and Beetlekit asks him if he sees ghosts. Rootspring says yes, and Beetlekit says that he wishes he could see ghosts. Beekit nudges her brother away and asks Rootspring if she can be his apprentice, but Beetlekit protests that he wants to be Rootspring's apprentice. Beekit glares at him and says that she said it first, but Beetlekit proudly argues that he is older than her. Beekit says that he is not, and Beetlekit once again states that he is before he leaps at his sister and tumbles her over, causing a play-fight. Rootspring is flattered with the kits' acceptance of him, and begins to believe he belongs in the Clan.

The Place of No Stars[]

Beekit and Beetlekit play with a small moss-ball that Wrenpaw had given them.

A Light in the Mist[]

Rootspring recalls how Beetlekit and Beekit followed him around camp asking him questions about his time in the Dark Forest.

In the A Starless Clan arc[]

River[]

He is now an apprentice named Beetlepaw and his mentor is Reedclaw.

In the Novellas[]

Daisy's Kin[]

When Daisy and Alderheart think of Clan queens who had kitted recently, they mention Nectarsong, though unnamed, had recently kitted and may have some milk.

  1. Due to timeline inconsistencies, Beepaw and Beetlepaw were apprenticed before their sixth moon, as the last three books of The Broken Code take place roughly a month, and there is roughly a three month timeskip between A Light in the Mist and River[2]
