Breezeheart is a brown-and-white she-cat.[8]

Breezeheart is a RiverClan warrior under Mistystar's, Owlnose's, Tigerstar's, and Splashtail's leaderships in the lake territories. She was born as Breezekit in Icewing and Mintfur's second litter alongside her sister Nightsky. As an apprentice, Breezepaw was mentored by Minnowtail. During her apprenticeship she and the rest of RiverClan temporarily sought shelter in ThunderClan when Darktail drove them from their territory. She earned her warrior name of Breezeheart and eventually became mentor to Graypaw. When Mistystar and Reedwhisker's deaths leave RiverClan without a leader, Breezeheart is optimistic that StarClan will approve of Owlnose and Splashtail.

History[]

In the A Vision of Shadows arc[]

The Apprentice's Quest[]

Breezekit and her sister Nightkit are the newest kits of Mintfur and Icewing of RiverClan.

Thunder and Shadow[]

She is now an apprentice named Breezepaw with Minnowtail as her mentor. During a Gathering, Leafpaw greets Breezepaw and Nightpaw with a purr and she hurries to join them, Larkpaw and Honeypaw following after their denmate. She attends another Gathering; with Nightpaw and Wavepaw.

Darkest Night[]

Breezepaw is seeking shelter in ThunderClan with the rest of RiverClan after being driven out of their territory by Darktail. As Owlnose complains that Mosspelt didn't get anything to eat, Breezepaw returns to the ThunderClan camp with Mistystar, Minnowtail, Podlight, and Mallownose, stopping and staring in surprise at the arguing cats. At the next Gathering, the Clans keep apart from each other. Nightpaw looks at Breezepaw nervously, but she ignores her littermate, looking away as the breeze ruffles her fur.

In the A Starless Clan arc[]

River[]

She is now mentoring her first apprentice, Graypaw. Following Graypaw's mother Curlfeather's death, Graypaw sits near his mentor in comfort.

Sky[]

When Frostpaw reflects on who should be leader, she considers Breezeheart, Sneezecloud, Havenpelt, and Nightsky as experienced enough to be taken seriously, but believes they are not beyond the obvious choices per the direction of StarClan. When Owlnose isn't granted his nine lives, Breezeheart agrees that StarClan is just waiting for the right moment just like Onestar. Breezeheart also approves of Splashtail as deputy. She later goes on a border patrol with Splashtail and Graypaw. During the battle against ShadowClan, Breezeheart and Graypaw fight against Tawnypelt and Sunbeam and Breezeheart flees into the river.

Shadow[]

After a training session with her apprentice, Graypaw promises to clean up after. Later, Breezeheart, Icewing, Graypaw, and Mistpaw train with Harelight and Frostpaw. Breezeheart asks Splashtail what happened to his paw after a sharp pebble became lodged in it.

At the Gathering, Breezeheart questions Frostpaw's claims that she spoke with StarClan. Later, Frostpaw spots Breezeheart and Graypaw practicing fighting techniques with claws unsheathed.
