In Tree's Roots, Cloud is mentioned by Moonlight as a former leader of the Sisters. Moonlight explains that Cloud had let a tom stay a few moons more than usual, and believes that because of her choice, the Sisters faced an extremely harsh leaf-bare as punishment. Not wanting to risk the safety of her fellow Sisters, she uses Cloud's choice as the main reason why Earth cannot stay longer than the rest of the toms in the group.
