"Banishing cats! Clans are supposed to stick together, not turn their backs on their Clanmates." |
— Cloverfoot angry with the codebreakers' punishments in The Silent Thaw, page 225 |
Cloverfoot is a gray tabby she-cat.[1]
Cloverfoot is the current deputy of ShadowClan under Tigerstar's leadership in the lake territories. She was born to Snowbird and Scorchfur alongside her littermates, Berryheart and Rippletail. When Needlepaw sparked a rebellion with ShadowClan's apprentices against Rowanstar, Cloverfoot agreed with them, and she left with many others joining Darktail's group. After realizing Darktail's true sinister nature, she escaped the Kin, reuniting with Sparrowtail, Slatefur, and Berryheart. While the four lived in a disheveled Twoleg nest, they were found by Tigerheart and accompanied the patrol back to the lake. Cloverfoot reunited with former Clanmates and kin, rejoining ShadowClan under Tigerstar.
She was among the hardest working to rebuild her Clan and formed a friendship with Alderheart when he helped heal Puddleshine. Following Juniperclaw's demotion, Cloverfoot was made deputy and stood by Tigerstar throughout the coldest leaf-bare. She attended the secret meetings of Bramblestar's impostor and was desired to have him out.
