"And I'll name the she-kit...Daisy, because if it weren't for you, she wouldn't be here. [...] But you were the one who attacked the hawk. You were so brave! And it was because of you that Squirrelflight let you and Alderheart come with me in the first place."
Smoky to Daisy about naming his daughter after her in Daisy's Kin, chapter 7

Daisy, also known as Little Daisy, is a fluffy[3] tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat[4] with a white paw[3] and green eyes.[5]

History[]

In The Broken Code arc[]

Darkness Within[]

Bristlefrost reflects how Daisy left to aid Smoky and his new kits, and worries if Daisy plans on leaving ThunderClan, knowing she would feel better if Daisy were around to assist Spotfur's own pregnancy.

In the A Starless Clan arc[]

Thunder[]

"Shall I apply more poultice? I've already chewed up some leaves like Whistlepaw showed me."
―Little Daisy to Frostpaw Thunder (book), page 46
Smoky and his kits enter the horseplace barn to see Frostpaw. Little Daisy tells her that Whistlepaw had taught them how to mix a poultice to place on her injury and assures her that her presence there will be a secret. Smoky introduces her and Coriander to Frostpaw. After Whistlepaw leaves, Little Daisy offers to replace her poultice and says that she has prepared the leaves, but Smoky says that she ought to rest. When Smoky tries to encourage Frostpaw to let a Twoleg treat her, he talks about how the Twoleg had treated Little Daisy's cut, and Little Daisy shows her her healed paw.
When Frostpaw awakens after being healed by the Twoleg, the horseplace cats greet her. Coriander tells her to leave her wounds alone or the Twoleg will give her a large collar. He explains how the Twoleg had done this to Little Daisy when she kept bothering her wounds, and she could not move around properly. He is disappointed that they will no longer need his cobwebs and that Little Daisy will not be able to make the poultice for Frostpaw. After Smoky and the kits leave her to eat, Frostpaw hears Whistlepaw drop into the barn, and she initially thinks that it is Little Daisy.

Wind[]

On her way to find Berryheart and the rest of her kin, Sunbeam encounters Smoky, who asks her about Frostpaw's health. When explaining why he allowed the Twoleg to help Frostpaw, he mentions that Coriander and Little Daisy had worried that Whistlepaw could not help her. Sunbeam assures him that Frostpaw is safe with the Clans, and he promises to tell his kits.

In the Novellas[]

Daisy's Kin[]

"Coriander and Little Daisy were able to eat fresh-kill now, and were growing strong and healthy, with bright eyes and shining pelts. Just now they were padding around, pawing at everything, their eyes wide and curious. Their helpless squeaks had given way to strong, loud meows."
―Daisy and Coriander growing up Daisy's Kin, chapter 8
Little Daisy and Coriander are born to Smoky and Coriander. Unfortunately, their mother dies, leaving them without milk. Daisy and Alderheart try to convince Smoky to give them up to Twolegs as they will likely die without Twoleg assistance, but Smoky states that he wants to follow through with the promise he made to Coriander. Therefore, Daisy and Alderheart feed the kits pulped prey, but eventually, the need arises to go find a nursing queen.
Smoky states that a kittypet named Coco might have recently kitted, and she might have milk for the kits. Daisy, Sorrelstripe, Mousewhisker, and Smoky try to find Coco, but come up unsuccessful. This convinces Smoky to listen to Daisy and take the kits to SkyClan, as they may have a nursing queen. Before this, Smoky wants to name the kits, but Daisy states that if Smoky names them but has to leave them, he may be too attached to them. On their way to SkyClan, they come across a WindClan patrol who expresses their sympathy for the kits. Daisy decides to go to ThunderClan camp first, hoping that Jayfeather will be able to give the kits traveling herbs for energy. The blind medicine cat does this, and sends them off to SkyClan.
While journeying, the cats run into a hawk. Three Sisters help save them, and the one in the lead introduces herself as Snow. Snow proposes that the kits come to their camp, as Sunshine has milk for the kits. Sunshine nurses the kits for almost a moon, with Alderheart checking on the kits almost daily. In this time, Smoky names the she-kit Daisy after his former mate, and the tom Coriander, after his mother. Smoky and Daisy take Little Daisy and Coriander back to the horseplace. While there, a ThunderClan patrol visits them in the hopes that Daisy would return to ThunderClan. Sorrelstripe comments that Coriander and Little Daisy had grown so much as the three cats exchange greetings. Daisy breaks the news to the kits that she would be leaving, but intrigues with the news of a brother, leaving them on edge for next time.
