Onestar's Confession[]
- While searching for Crowpaw in the Twolegplace, Onewhisker encounters a group of kittypets, including Dudley. The small ginger tom is excited to meet the fabled warrior Melody had described. Onewhisker humors the kittypets' admiration by telling them a story how he and his Clanmates chased off a fox, though excluded how the fox was old and frail. He asks them about Crowpaw, and Smoke, Melody, and Dudley promise to keep an eye out for the WindClan apprentice. As Onewhisker prepares to leave, Dudley comments on how Onewhisker is skinny and offers to share his treats with him. Dudley leads the group of kittypets to his Twoleg's garage and knocks down his bag of treats from a shelf. At Onewhisker's hesitancy, Dudley encourages him to try some, explaining they are bacon flavored. Onewhisker, Dudley, and the other kittypets happily enjoy the scattered treats. Seasons later, Snowflake explains to Onestar how Darktail killed Dudley, much to Onestar's horror.
