Erica Sussman was an editor of the New York Times bestselling Warriors books, written by Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Tui Sutherland under the pen name Erin Hunter.[2]

Biography[]

Erica was promoted from a Publishing Director to a Publisher at the Harper group on November 2023,[1] where she leads Harper imprint's middle grade and teen teams. Her roles include SCEA licensed publishing and influencer/celebrity programs. [3] Erica was also an Executive Editor at HarperCollins Children where she acquired and edited tween and teen novels. Some of her editing work included editing books by Joseph Bruchac, Jill Kargman, and Carrie Karasyov, and editing series Magic Pony Carousel by Poppy Shire and My Sister the Vampire by Sienna Mercer.[4]
Erica taught in a private school in Brooklyn, where her best friend advised her to take a career in children's publishing. Erica heeded the advise as she wasn't enjoying her then current job.[5]
