Various characters in the Warriors series are exiled from their group of residence, with varying reasons. This page aims to list the cats who have been exiled or banished.

Exiled from ThunderClan

Tigerclaw Forest of Secrets Bluestar Tigerclaw was exiled on account of his attempted murder of his Clan leader, Bluestar, and treason.[2]
Darkstripe The Darkest Hour Firestar Firestar exiled Darkstripe after it was revealed that he tried to poison the young Sorrelkit with deathberries. [3]
Hollyleaf Hollyleaf's Story Self imposed Hollyleaf choose to exile herself to the tunnels when ThunderClan assumed she died. She did this in repentance for her crimes, saving cats and gathering herbs. Lionblaze took her as ThunderClan's prisoner, where she rejoined.[4]
Lionblaze The Silent Thaw Bramblestar's impostor After accidentally crossing the WindClan border, Lionblaze was temporarily banished from ThunderClan for a quarter moon as a punishment. He later returned a little after the quarter moon was up.[5]
Squirrelflight The Silent Thaw Bramblestar's impostor Squirrelflight was demoted as deputy and exiled from ThunderClan after the impostor discovered she was informing the other Clans that he was a fake.[6]
Lionblaze Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor The brothers were exiled from ThunderClan for their half-WindClan status. [7][8]

Twigbranch Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor Swapping between ThunderClan and SkyClan, and getting Finleap to switch Clans.[7]
Finleap Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor Finleap chose to be exiled from ThunderClan after the impostor refused to let Twigbranch back in. Alderheart joined him, and the impostor exiled both for being disloyal to him.[9]

Berrynose Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor After Berrynose failed to arrive early enough during an assassination attempt on Bramblestar's impostor, the impostor exiled his deputy.[10]
Sparkpelt Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor After Sparkpelt brought up the issue of Flipclaw not knowing what he was doing as a severely inexperienced medicine cat, the impostor exiled her for her alleged disloyalty.[11]
Graystripe Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor As Sparkpelt is being exiled, Graystripe intervenes and criticizes the impostor's weak leadership, exposing him as a fraud. The impostor exiles him afterwards.[11]
Bumblestripe Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor These cats stood with Graystripe and left ThunderClan as exiles.[12]

Stormcloud Veil of Shadows Bramblestar's impostor After Stormcloud tried feeding the elders first, the impostor banished him. However, Stormcloud returned soon afterwards.[13]

Brokenstar Into the Wild ShadowClan ShadowClan had grown tired of Brokenstar's tyranny, and chose to forcibly exile him, along with his followers, from their Clan. [16]

Sol Long Shadows Blackstar Sol was exiled by Blackstar after Blackstar's faith in StarClan was reignited.[17]
Violetkit Thunder and Shadow Rowanstar Due to her friendship with Needlepaw, one of the rebellious apprentices, Rowanstar mistrusted Violetkit. So when Needlepaw wanted to take the kit with her to join The Kin, Rowanstar agreed, exiling her. He allowed Violetkit to rejoin when she asked several moons later.[18]
Dovewing The Silent Thaw Self imposed Upon being told she was a codebreaker, Dovewing went into self-imposed exile to atone. Tigerstar and Shadowsight brought her back soon afterwards. However, she decided to continue her atonement after learning that the Bramblestar leading ThunderClan was an impostor, to avoid suspicion.[19][20]

Exiled from SkyClan

Quick Water Shadowstar's Life Skystar Skystar had Quick Water exiled after Shadowstar told him that Quick Water killed both her and her deputy, Sun Shadow.[21]
Harveymoon SkyClan's Destiny Leafstar Leafstar exiled Macgyver and Harveymoon for one moon due to being uncommitted to SkyClan. During that time, they had to think of their true loyalties. On their return, they vowed to work harder.[22]

Sol SkyClan and the Stranger Leafstar Leafstar exiled Sol for kidnapping her kits in a failed scheme to become a warrior. He swore revenge on the whole of Clan culture.[23]
Tree The Silent Thaw Self-imposed The impostor demanded Tree be exiled to atone for his codebreaking. Although Leafstar refused, Tree reluctantly complied and went into a temporary three day exile.[24]
Kitescratch Veil of Shadows Leafstar Leafstar exiled Kitescratch after she discovered he took part in an attempt to kill Bramblestar's impostor, who also demanded she exile him. However, Leafstar had him retrieved quickly afterwards, revealing that she had not genuinely intended to exile Kitescratch and only did it to make the fake Bramblestar trust her.[25]

Exiled from WindClan

Crowfeather Crowfeather's Trial Onestar Onestar exiles him for a quarter moon due to disobeying orders and disrespect. He was allowed to return early for finding a missing Nightcloud.[26]
Veil of Shadows Harestar As a listed codebreaker, Harestar exiled Crowfeather from WindClan. However, Crowfeather later returned to WindClan and his deputy position after the impostor was deposed of.[27]

Exiled from RiverClan

Graystripe A Dangerous Path Leopardstar Graystripe was exiled from RiverClan by Leopardstar after he refused to attack Fireheart. Bluestar allowed him to rejoin ThunderClan afterwards.[28]
Stormfur Sunset Leopardstar Leopardstar exiled the mates due to Mothwing's supposed dream and Stormfur attacking Hawkfrost for his accusations. They joined ThunderClan afterwards.[29]
Brook Where Small Fish Swim
Mothwing Veil of Shadows Mistystar Mothwing, upon being named as a codebreaker, was exiled for her status as the daughter of the first Tigerstar and a rogue, Sasha. Mothwing was given refuge in ShadowClan and later became a member of the rebel group. When Icewing and Harelight were exiled by Mistystar, the latter offered Mothwing a place back in RiverClan, but Mothwing refused. Tigerstar then gave Mothwing a home in ShadowClan.[30]
Icewing Veil of Shadows Mistystar Icewing and Harelight were exiled by Mistystar as they fought against RiverClan during a major battle. Although some objected to it, Mistystar remained firm and refused to have them back. However, Tigerstar allowed them to join ShadowClan in turn.[31]

Stormfur Prior to Twilight Stoneteller Stormfur was exiled by Stoneteller after an attempt to drive off rogues from Tribe territory failed. Brook joins Stormfur in his exile.[33]

Exiled from Clear Sky's camp

Jagged Peak The Sun Trail Clear Sky Jagged Peak was exiled by Clear Sky after a leg injury failed to heal properly, as he was not able to contribute as much as the rest of the group could.[34]
Frost Thunder Rising Clear Sky An infected wound prevented Frost from keeping up with the rest of Clear Sky's group, and he was exiled by Clear Sky as so Frost would not burden the group.[35]
Snake A Forest Divided Clear Sky Clear Sky exiled Snake after the tabby tom blamed him for One Eye's actions and attacked him. Clear Sky gave Snake the option to accept him as leader, or leave. Snake chose the latter, and was then exiled.
