Various characters in the Warriors series are exiled from their group of residence, with varying reasons. This page aims to list the cats who have been exiled or banished.
Mapleshade and her kits were exiled from ThunderClan after it was revealed that she lied about the parentage of her kits, and their real father was a RiverClan warrior named Appledusk.[1]
Hollyleaf chose to exile herself to the tunnels when ThunderClan assumed she died. She did this in repentance for her crimes, saving cats and gathering herbs. Lionblaze took her as ThunderClan's prisoner, where she rejoined.[4]
After accidentally crossing the WindClan border, Lionblaze was temporarily banished from ThunderClan for a quarter moon as a punishment. He later returned a little after the quarter moon was up.[5]
Squirrelflight was demoted as deputy and exiled from ThunderClan after the impostor discovered she was informing the other Clans that he was a fake.[6]
Finleap chose to be exiled from ThunderClan after the impostor refused to let Twigbranch back in. Alderheart joined him, and the impostor exiled both for being disloyal to him.[9]
After Sparkpelt brought up the issue of Flipclaw not knowing what he was doing as a severely inexperienced medicine cat, the impostor exiled her for her alleged disloyalty.[11]
As Sparkpelt is being exiled, Graystripe intervenes and criticizes the impostor's weak leadership, exposing him as a fraud. The impostor exiles him afterwards.[11]
Brokenstar exiled the elders from ShadowClan camp for being a burden. All of them except Poolcloud, who died in exile, returned to overthrow Brokenstar's leadership with ThunderClan. [14]
Due to her friendship with Needlepaw, one of the rebellious apprentices, Rowanstar mistrusted Violetkit. So when Needlepaw wanted to take the kit with her to join The Kin, Rowanstar agreed, exiling her. He allowed Violetkit to rejoin when she asked several moons later.[18]
Upon being told she was a codebreaker, Dovewing went into self-imposed exile to atone. Tigerstar and Shadowsight brought her back soon afterwards. However, she decided to continue her atonement after learning that the Bramblestar leading ThunderClan was an impostor, to avoid suspicion.[19][20]
Berryheart suggested voting Tigerstar out of power, but Puddleshine was worried she was misusing the rule. The leader recommended her faction to leave. Half choose to stay, while the rest became rogues. [21]
Leafstar exiled Macgyver and Harveymoon for one moon due to being uncommitted to SkyClan. During that time, they had to think of their true loyalties. On their return, they vowed to work harder.[23]
The impostor demanded Tree be exiled to atone for his codebreaking. Although Leafstar refused, Tree reluctantly complied and went into a temporary three day exile.[25]
Leafstar exiled Kitescratch after she discovered he took part in an attempt to kill Bramblestar's impostor, who also demanded she exile him. However, Leafstar had him retrieved quickly afterwards, revealing that she had not genuinely intended to exile Kitescratch and only did it to make the fake Bramblestar trust her.[26]
When Moth Flight accidentally endangered herself and Gorse Fur, Wind Runner declares her daughter too troublesome for WindClan. Thinking she's right, Moth Flight temporarily leaves until the desire to help her Clan makes her return.[27]
As a listed codebreaker, Harestar exiled Crowfeather from WindClan. However, Crowfeather later returned to WindClan and his deputy position after the impostor was deposed of.[29]
Leopardstar exiled her father after his continuous objections to her leadership style and aligning with Tigerstar. Mudfur later returned to the Clan.[31]
Leopardstar exiled the mates due to Mothwing's supposed dream and Stormfur attacking Hawkfrost for his accusations. They joined ThunderClan afterwards.[32]
Mothwing, upon being named as a codebreaker, was exiled for her status as the daughter of the first Tigerstar and a rogue, Sasha. Mothwing was given refuge in ShadowClan and later became a member of the rebel group. When Icewing and Harelight were exiled by Mistystar, the latter offered Mothwing a place back in RiverClan, but Mothwing refused. Tigerstar then gave Mothwing a home in ShadowClan.[33]
Icewing and Harelight were exiled by Mistystar as they fought against RiverClan during a major battle. Although some objected to it, Mistystar remained firm and refused to have them back. However, Tigerstar allowed them to join ShadowClan in turn.[34]
When Frostpaw's attempted to reveal the truth about Splashtail plotting with Curlfeather to kill Reedwhisker were met with scrutiny, Splashtail exiled Frostpaw from RiverClan.[35]
Talon, Bird, Rock and three unnamed cats were exiled from the Tribe until they could kill Sharptooth, a mountain lion that was terrorizing the Tribe.[36]
Jagged Peak was exiled by Clear Sky after a leg injury failed to heal properly, as he was not able to contribute as much as the rest of the group could.[38]
An infected wound slowed Frost down, and Clear Sky exiled him for being a burden to the group. When Thunder protested, Clear Sky ordered him to leave Frost to die or join him in exile. Thunder ended up choosing the second option.[39]
Clear Sky exiled Snake after the tabby tom blamed him for One Eye's actions and attacked him. Clear Sky gave Snake the option to accept him as leader, or leave. Snake chose the latter, and was then exiled.
