In the Power of Three Arc
Long Shadows
- Though Falling Rain does not formally appear in the book, he is mentioned by Stone Song while he is talking about all the cats lost in the tunnels. Stone Song goes on to say that Falling Rain had disappeared right after his mate, Falcon Swoop, was killed by a Twoleg monster, and that nobody knows what had happened to him. It is also revealed that he is the father of Jay's Wing and Dove's Wing. Dove's Wing expresses grief for her parents when Stone Song mentions the death of them.
