StormClan's Folly[]
- Fawnpelt is a ThunderClan warrior under the leadership of Stripestar. She later joins StormClan with her kits, Curlkit and Russetkit. Her kits scramble towards the group of cats who have decided to depart and look for a new home, and Fawnpelt hurries after them, trying her best to comfort them. She insists that even without Tumbletail, the kits will always be taken care of, and she even suggests the possibility of joining another Clan. Fawnpelt is unable to minimize her kits' worries, and she apologizes for how they react to Galestar's approach.
- Later, Galestar thinks about Fawnpelt and her family, hoping that their bellies are full of prey. When her attempts at offering comfort to the kits of Huntheart and Fernwhisper initially fail, Galestar ruefully remembers Fawnpelt's kits.
