A Dangerous Path

After Cinderpelt confirms that Speckletail's kit, Snowkit, is deaf, Dappletail tells Fireheart that white cats with blue eyes often are deaf, and recalls one from her first litter that was this way. Fireheart asks what happened to the kit, and Dappletail explains that no one knows, as he had disappeared three moons after he was born. The Clan had come to the conclusion a fox had taken him, causing Speckletail to drag Snowkit closer to herself, vowing that a fox will not get her kit.
