Frondwhisker is a gray tabby she-cat.[14]
Frondwhisker was a ShadowClan warrior under Tigerstar's leadership in the lake territories. She was born as Frondkit to Scorchfur and Snowbird alongside her littermates, Conekit and Gullkit during the Kin's reign. Her family evacuated to ThunderClan temporarily, and they rejoined ShadowClan until it was merged with SkyClan. When Tigerstar was resurrected, she rejoined ShadowClan again and became an apprentice as Frondpaw to Slatefur. She earned her warrior name of Frondwhisker, and during a major battle instigated by Bramblestar's impostor, Frondwhisker was killed. She became a ghost, unable to find StarClan, until Ashfur imprisoned her ghost in the Dark Forest. Frondwhisker was forced to fight for Ashfur, but after the dark warrior's death in battle, Frondwhisker went to StarClan.

Shattered Sky[]
- Puddleshine delivers Snowbird and Scorchfur's kits, Gullkit, Frondkit, and Conekit. As Violetpaw removes ticks from Ratscar and Oakfur, the elders comment on how some young cats don't seem to understand loyalty, wondering what kind of world Snowbird's kits would grow up in.
- She is with her littermates and mother in the Kin's nursery when Scorchfur attempts to convince Darktail to give the RiverClan prisoners some food. Violetpaw wills him not to argue with the rogue leader, thinking that his mate would struggle to feed the kits by herself.
- As Violetpaw starts sneaking out cats to ThunderClan's territory, Alderheart reflects on how she had brought out Snowbird and her kits the second time, where they had settled into the ThunderClan nursery. Snowbird and her kits appear at the entrance of the nursery when Bramblestar calls a meeting, beginning with how glad he is to see the ShadowClan cats, and the kits, safe and well. At a later meeting to announce the fight to finally drive out the rogues, both Snowbird and Blossomfall come to the entrance of the nursery, all of their kits frisking around their paws.
River of Fire[]
- Frondkit is seen by Violetshine sleeping with her mother and siblings as she looks for Yarrowleaf's kits, Flaxkit and Hopkit.

Veil of Shadows[]
- Frondwhisker is among the slain warriors after the battle between all five Clans. Shadowsight spots her body being carried alongside Strikestone to the center of camp so that ShadowClan could sit vigil for them. Later at a Gathering, Rootspring spots those who died unable to reach StarClan as ghosts.
The Place of No Stars[]
- Frondwhisker's spirit is trapped in the Dark Forest and is under Ashfur's possession. Rootspring notices the possessed spirits looking vacant on an island. Frondwhisker is one of the spirit cats who cheer on for Snowtuft and Rootspring to kill each other.
A Light in the Mist[]
- Rootspring notices Frondwhisker among the cats cheering on for him to kill Snowtuft. Frondwhisker's spirit is forced to participate in the final battle, but her spirit is free to join StarClan after Ashfur's defeat. Later, Bramblestar names Frondwhisker in honor of those who died opposing the impostor.
