History:Graystripe remarks that this Twoleg is the one who brought him to his nest, which he lives in with his mate and kits. Graystripe then jumps onto the Twoleg's lap and lets him pet him.

History:Graystripe says that the big Twoleg's kits seem to like him, and maybe even love him. They give him belly rubs and pet him. Later, when Graystripe is in their garden, she runs out with her brother and plays with Graystripe using a mouse toy on a string. When Graystripe tears apart the mouse, she glares at him angrily while comforting her crying brother. Graystripe thinks that he feels bad for upsetting the kits. When Graystripe returns from trying to explore the Twolegplace, he is quickly scooped up by the female kit. A few days later, she is seen petting Graystripe with her brother before the older female Twoleg tells them to go to bed.

History:Graystripe says that the big Twoleg's kits seem to like him, and maybe even love him. They give him belly rubs and pet him. Later, when Graystripe is in the garden, the male Twoleg kit and his sister come out and play with him using a toy mouse on a string. When Graystripe shreds the mouse, the Twoleg kit is seen crying with his sister beside him. Graystripe thinks that he feels bad for upsetting the kits. A few days later, he is seen petting Graystripe with the female Twoleg kit before the adult female Twoleg tells them to go to bed. That morning, he finds Graystripe trying to sneak out the window and carries him down to the door, where he lets Graystripe out, saying that it's dangerous to go out in the roof like that.

History:Graystripe remarks that she is the big Twoleg's mate. She brings Graystripe a bowl of cat food, and tells him to stay inside when he tries to go out into the garden. When he rushes back inside, she picks him up and pets him. Later, when Graystripe starts scratching the furniture and climbing the curtains, she tells him to stop and wacks him with a newspaper and a broom. That night, when the Twoleg kits are petting Graystripe, she tells them to go to bed.

Black cat[]

"Yes--are the rumors true? Were you really once a wild forest cat?"

History:Graystripe meets them when he is looking for Millie. They are lying next to a white kittypet on a table with an umbrella. The black cat explains Millie is not around and comes through this area when she feels like it. The black cat gets curious, asking if the rumors are true that he was once a wild cat. Graystripe answers by scaring the two kittypets and they screech in fear and run off.

Light gray cat[]

"We've heard about you, though, stranger."

History:Graystripe meets them when he is looking for Millie. They are lying next to a black kittypet on a table with an umbrella. They explain to Graystripe they have not heard from Millie all day. The white cat says they've heard about him, calling him stranger. They ask if he really did eat bones. Graystripe replies he does, especially the bones of soft kittypets. The black cat and the white cat scream before running away in fear.

Millie's Twoleg[]

History:She greets Millie when the latter returns home, saying she was back soon. She asks if Millie's feeling all right, and says she'll get her a treat. She picks Millie up and takes her over to a kittie condo, then hands her a dish of cat food. As she leaves, she tells Millie to let her know if she needs anything else.

Light brown cat[]

History:The patched cat shows up with Duke and a striped cat to fight Graystripe and Millie. They approach Millie and she slashes them. The patched cat leaps away and retreats after Duke is defeated.

Yellow cat[]

History:The striped cat shows up with Duke and a patchy cat to fight Graystripe and Millie. The striped cat approaches Millie and confronts her after she swipes at his friend, preparing to attack. However, they retreat after Duke is defeated.

Gardening Twoleg[]

History:The gardening Twoleg is spraying water over plants as Graystripe approaches and begs for food. She then sprays Graystripe with the hose to scare him away, telling him to get out of here and calling him a filthy beast.

Brown cat[]

History:Millie encounters them when she is looking for Graystripe, probably asking for help on her search for her friend.

Husker, Moss, and Splash's former Twolegs[]

"A couple of elderly Twolegs took care of us. Fed us... loved us. We had a good life. A great life. But then the Twolegs both died... and everything changed."

History:Husker, Moss, and Splash were taken care of by two elderly Twolegs. They fed them and loved them and gave the cats a great life. However, that all changed when they died and their cats were forced to live in a barn.

History:He and his family move into what used to be Husker, Moss, and Splash's housefolk's house. He thinks it is fun to scare the cats, and he often lets the dogs out to chase them when he sees them. When he sees Graystripe and Millie in a bush, he kicks a soccer ball at them, before being stopped by the adult female Twoleg. When Graystripe and Millie lead him and his family to the barn, he is seen hugging Splash, seemingly accepting the cats.

History:She and her family move into what used to be Husker, Moss, and Splash's housefolk's house. Graystripe tries to stop her falling into a pond by acting cute to distract her. Her parents notice, and at first try to scare Graystripe away, before they realize that they might startle the girl and cause her to fall in. Graystripe succeeds in leading her away from the pond, and she sits down to pet him and Millie. Later, she is seen playing with a cat toy in her back yard. Graystripe and Millie lead her and her family to the barn, and Moss's kits come down from the loft. The Twoleg family pets and hugs them, seeming to finally accept the cats.

History:He and his family move into what used to be Husker, Moss, and Splash's housefolk's house. When Graystripe tries to go outside to hunt, he sprays him with a hose. Later, when he sees the female Twoleg kit dangerously close to the pond, he notices Graystripe and exclaims that there's another filthy farm cat. When the adult female Twoleg tries to shoo Graystripe away, he tells her not to step on the plants. When she tries to get to the pond to help the kit, he stops her, saying that she might spook the kit and cause her to fall right in. When Graystripe successfully lures the kit away from the pond, her tries to pet the cat, but Graystripe runs away. Later, Graystripe and Millie lead him and his family to the barn. Moss's kits come down from the loft, and the Twoleg family seems to finally accept the cats living there.

History:She and her family move into what used to be Husker, Moss, and Splash's housefolk's house. When Graystripe tries to go outside the barn to hunt, she lets the dogs out of the house to chase him away. When she sees the female Twoleg kit dangerously close to the pond with Graystripe, she tries to shoo him away. She sees that the kit is too close to the edge and tries to go help her, but the male Twoleg holds her back, saying she might startle her and cause her to fall right in. When Graystripe successfully lures the kit away from the pond, she comes to make sure she is okay. She is later seen playing with the Twoleg kit, and when she sees Graystripe and Millie, she beckons them over. When the male Twoleg kit kicks a soccer ball at the cats, she scolds him, telling him to not bother the cats. Graystripe and Millie lead her and her family to the barn. Moss's kits come down from the loft, and the Twoleg family seems to finally accept the cats living in it. When Graystripe and Millie try to leave, she gives them one last hug before letting them go.

Large long-furred dog[]

History:As Graystripe eats some kittypet food, Diesel's caretaker swats him away with a broom, saying he is not Diesel. She yells at him to go away, calling him a lousy stray. As Graystripe exits the building, she continues urging him to go away, stating the food is not for him.

Striped golden kittypet[]

"Lies! You have the scent of the wilderness! You're a wild cat, just like this other one! And we won't let you take our hunts and our kills away from us!"

History:As Graystripe and Millie rest at the Hare Hill Inn, they are attacked by three cats. Graystripe knows they are kittypets by their scent, but these are not soft kittypets. They are battle-hardened like Duke. The golden striped one throws Graystripe onto his back before Millie tries to stop it, explaining they are just passing through. The striped kittypet says they are passing through their territory and they don't want their kind here. Millie tries to explain that she is not a wild cat, she was a kittypet not so long ago, but the striped kittypet doesn't believe her. They say she smells like a wild cat just like Graystripe, and they will not let them take away their prey. He attacks Graystripe again and they swipe at each other's heads. When Graystripe is distracted by another kittypet, the golden striped kittypet crashes Graystripe into a fence, hitting his sore shoulder. Graystripe reacts by grabbing the kittypet's scruff and banging his head against the fence, and the kittypets flee.

Tri-colored kittypet[]

History:While Graystripe and Millie sleep, three cats attack them. Graystripe knows they are kittypets by their scent, but these cats are not soft kittypets. They are battle-hardened like Duke. The brown, white, and black kittypet stands back as a white striped kittypet talks to the loners before charging forward again, jumping on Millie and bowling her over. They wrestle until Graystripe bangs the golden striped kittypet's head into the fence, causing the kittypets to flee.

Orange kittypet with a striped back[]

History:While Graystripe and Millie sleep, three cats attack them. Graystripe knows they are kittypets by their scent, but are not soft kittypets. They are battle-hardened like Duke. A dark-colored cat with a stripe on their back rushes forward with the other two cats, biting Graystripe's leg. Graystripe swipes at their head but the kittypet just watches as a golden striped kittypet catches Graystripe off guard. Graystripe bangs the golden-striped kittypet's head against the fence, causing all three kittypets to flee.

Tricolored rogue[]

"Large... uh... large group... let me think... Oh, wait--yeah! Yeah, there's a big group over this ridge... but I wouldn't go there if I were you. I've heard they eat bones!"

History:While trying to find the Clans, Graystripe and Millie meet a rogue and try to talk to them. The rogue is holding a mouse and is surprised at the sight of the two loners, so he runs away. Millie and Graystripe give chase and the rogue drops the mouse, saying they can take it. Graystripe is confused, saying they do not want the mouse, and he can have it. The tricolored rogue is also confused, asking what they want. Graystripe asks about a large group of cats and the rogue thinks for a moment before remembering a that there are a large group of cats that live over a nearby ridge. He advises they do not go that way as they eat bones. Graystripe recognizes the common rumor for Clan cats, and races to find his Clan. Later on the island, Graystripe explains to Mistyfoot that a rogue told them there are cats living by the lake.
