In Fire and Ice, when Fireheart ventures to the Twolegplace to find Princess, he convinces her that he is indeed her brother Rusty. The ginger warrior asks after their mother and other siblings. Princess says their mother is still with her housefolk, and she sees their other littermates from time to time in their own gardens, as most of them live nearby.

- Filou was first introduced in Su Susann's "Missing Kits" on Vicky's Facebook as a light ginger tabby tom with white paws, belly and chest and hazel eyes. Filou and Tommy lived with the same Twoleg and were adventurous like their brother, Firestar.[19]
