- Flamenose is a warrior of ThunderClan. He has two kits with Larksong, Sunkit and Featherkit. Larksong tells their kits that the squirrel they are eating was caught by their father, just for them. She reminds them to thank Flamenose after they have finished eating.

- Vicky admits she may have forgotten about including Flamenose in Goosefeather's Curse,[3] but he might appear in Pinestar's Choice.[4] This is later confirmed to be true.[1]
- Vicky originally agreed that Flamenose sounded like a bright ginger tom with long fur and amber eyes.[3] His description is finally listed as a ginger tom with amber eyes in Pinestar's Choice.[1]
