Forest of Secrets & Rising Storm is the second book in the Special Editions, and a hardcover paper-over-board compilation of Forest of Secrets and Rising Storm.^[4] The cats depicted on the bottom of the cover are Fireheart and Graystripe.^[5]

It features Fireheart as the main protagonist, with Graypool and Runningnose in the prologues.

The book contains no new content or stories, rather choosing to focus entirely on tying the original paperbacks for Forest of Secrets and Rising Storm into a single hardcover book, with very limited changes. Each section for the two books open the exact same way as they would if one were to read the books separately, with title pages and copyright pages placed right before the beginning of each book.
