On 19 July 2008 Brackenstar was banned for a period of 3 days as a result of Forum Conduct in Forum:Rejected Warriors Names. In an effort to obey the Policy that will go into effect tomorrow, I have opted to post an explanation of my ban here.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 05:52, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Crime[]

Brackenstar cunducted themselves outside of acceptable conduct and made a foray into the realm of personal attack via the following forum posts:

#1
Some sort of offense to rainpaw, and Kitsufox, but who are you to say to dictate us around. it might be immature but it was not started by you. at the top said by Darkpaw it was hust for laughs, all those laughs were funny, so don't you start acting like Buzz Killington and say words like that

so don't you start acting like Buzz Killington and say words like that it was not started by you. so dont act like you OWN IT!!!!!!!!!!
GOD I AM SO OUTRAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#3
Rainpaw you should change your name to Bethosface, or Dungbrain

Analyzed by Kitsu[]

1: As a Sysop, it is my job to give instructions and keep people on task. Not only did the topic itself, even when used properly, brought nothing of value to the Wiki. When it descended into such immaturity that it was harming the image of the wiki it became necessary for me to ask for a correction. That I didn't just protect the page, or delete it and call it done should have been taken as a kindness, rather than some sort of cruelty.

2: In no way did anyone by you act like they owned the place, which on a Wiki no one but the site itself owns anything. Outrage is acceptable, but using the internet equivalent of a shot is not an unacceptable way to request a change to a Sysops judgment.

3: Unacceptable personal attack against Rainpaw, who did nothing more than agree that immaturity destroyed the fun they were having.

Punishment[]

I opted for a 3 day ban, the shortest standard WWiki ban, to serve as a warning. Flaming, screaming and name calling will not be tolerated here. Nor will demands that anarchy rule be bent to. First and foremost this is an encyclopedia. We are gathered here to write an encyclopedia, not giggle like children over names like "Poopheart" and "Dungeye".  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 05:52, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Yikes![]

Brackenstar, I don't know how you offended Kitsu and Rainpaw, but it's disappointing to here that. As much as I'm disappointed, though, I'm some what sorry that you've been banned for three days. You are very lucky it wasn't longer! SIGNED, GB 19:54, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Links to the edits stored in history that were offensive have been provided, GB. If you don't even understand anything save the fact that someone got in trouble for something, is it even appropriate for you to get involved?  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 02:43, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, now I know this whole misfortune. GB 02:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Well I, Brackenstar, was supposed to banned for 3 days starting either July 19, 2008, or July 20, 2008. It is now July 29, 2008 and yet i have not yet to be able o edit anything. Have anything to say to that? m now taking the name of Wildheart 0001 Wildheart 0001 04:09, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

The ban was set for 3 days. and considering you could create an account (and I filed things so that you shouldn't be able to create an account if the ban still stood) the ban is clearly no longer in effect. Chances are it's a cookie issue in your computer. Considering you've come back acting confrontational, I'm unimpressed. Bans lift automatically based on the website's settings, so no human being is responsible for your inability to post with your normal account, unless you didn't clear your browser cache or something, which could cause issues like that.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 04:15, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
