The Apprentice's Quest

Foxpaw is a RiverClan apprentice and his mentor is Lizardtail.

Thunder and Shadow

He is mentioned to have received his warrior name at a Gathering by Mistystar, and the Clans cheer for his new name, Foxnose.

Shattered Sky

Petalfur, Heronwing, Shadepelt, and Foxnose are killed in a major clash between the Kin and RiverClan. Mistystar bends down and sniffs at his body, noting his gaping throat wound. She says they did not deserve to die as they did, and had fought bravely. Mistystar requests Darktail allows them to bury their dead Clanmates, but he mocks her, calling them carrion. This angers the RiverClan leader, but before they can brawl, Mosspelt interrupts. She tells Mistystar to leave it, but she protests that she cannot leave her fallen Clanmates. Mosspelt insists that wherever they may be, Darktail cannot stop them from reaching StarClan, and Mistystar agrees eventually.
