Thunderstar.FG-1 "The story is never the same twice, and parts grow uncertain, or they become suddenly clear in the telling."

This article contains information mainly from the 2007 field guide, Secrets of the Clans. While based on canonical information, the book has been repeatedly retconned as the series progressed, and thus its credibility is questioned.

"Standing on the bank of the river was the boar's mate—an even bigger, fiercer beast who rarely left her den, as Goldenstar and Shadestar knew. This she-boar was named Fury."
— Narration of Fleetfoot seeing Fury for the first time in Secrets of the Clans, page 163

Fury is a giant wild she-boar.[1]

In Secrets of the Clans, Fury is the mate of Rage, another wild boar. A LeopardClan warrior, Fleetfoot, was promised that her Clan could claim the river for one moon in exchange for killing the dangerous Rage. She accepts the challenge and succeeds, but she was never told about Fury, who was even bigger and fiercer than her mate. Fury is seen furiously watching as Fleetfoot climbs out of the river and drying herself after she kills Rage.

Fury battles Fleetfoot for two days and two nights, until Fleetfoot, though exhausted, finally drives Fury out onto the stepping stones, where the she-boar loses her footing and falls into the river, drowning. When Fleetfoot killed both Rage and Fury, the other Clans allowed LeopardClan to claim the river as their hunting grounds as rebuke for their treachery.
