"I never heard from the Clans again. They probably assumed that my kits and I died in the storm, and by then it was just as well. I wasn't the cat I used to be, and I'd found happiness in my new home. My love for Stripestar had been true, but I had let it go, along with Clan life and the duties of a leader—and my nine lives. I hardly ever thought of all that anymore. And one day, when my paws led me to the afterlife, I was glad to find myself not in StarClan, but in this wilderness among the ancestors of my wildcat family." |

Galestar is a black-and-white she-cat.[7]

In the Super Editions arc[]
Ivypool's Heart[]
- "Yes, I do. I'm not able to see every outcome, but being here in the eternal hunting grounds has given me a special connection to kits—those who have been born, and those who are still to come. These kits and their parents will be very important to the wildcats and the last remnants of StormClan. It's up to you to reunite them."
- ―Galestar Ivypool's Heart, page 231
- Galestar gave birth to three kits at their temporary camp near the sun-drown-place. ThunderClan's former cats were restless to continue moving and find a permanent home before leaf-bare. Stripestar agreed with his former warriors, and StormClan left their temporary camp. However, Galestar and her kits became separated in a strong storm, taking shelter in a crevice near the water. A rockslide blocked their entrance, trapping Galestar and her family. StormClan eventually moved on; the former StormClan leader resents Stripestar for siding with his Clan and abandoning her by the rocks. Whistlepaw insists that she saw Stripestar attempting to find them in her vision, but Galestar still wonders why he didn't come back. Galestar continues, explaining how they were eventually rescued by a strange group of wildcats. Despite her hesitation, the wildcats were friendly, and Galestar eventually gave up trying to find her Clanmates. She fell in love with a wildcat tom, Bound Hunt, and they raised her kits together. She eventually had a litter of half-cat half-wildcat kits with him, and her kits with Stripestar had families of their own among the wildcats. Galestar explains how she gave Whistlepaw the vision so the Clans could repay the kindness the wildcats had shown her by rescuing Tumble Leap, Stalk Purr, and their unborn kits and reuniting them with the wildcats.
- To convince Tumble Leap and Stalk Purr that they saw Galestar in a dream, Icewing tells the wildcats the names of their unborn kits and that the Twoleg plans on giving them away. The wildcats are familiar with Galestar's story, believing the Clan cats. On their journey to find the wildcats, Icewing elaborates more on Galestar's story to Tumble Leap and Stalk Purr, who note that they grew up hearing her story. When they meet the wildcat group, the wildcats are surprised to learn that they know of Galestar. However, when Icewing and Ivypool explain their story to the group's elders, Prowl Sleek, Spring Claw, and Hunt Growl refuse to accept Tumble Leap and Stalk Purr because of how the Clans abandoned Galestar.
- After gaining permission from their ancestors to accept Tumble Leap, Stalk Purr, and their kits, the elders guide Ivypool and Icewing to a tree similar to the Star Tree to enter the ancestors' hunting grounds. They reunite with Galestar, Icewing and Iveypool encourage Galestar to visit StarClan so she could revive Stripestar's long forgotten spirit to force the Clans to remember StormClan. Galestar is hesitant to reunite with her former mate, but she eventually agrees, and she guides the Clan cats down the River of Spirits to StarClan's hunting grounds. In StarClan, Galestar explains her story to Thunderstar, Windstar, Riverstar, Mistystar, Ferncloud, and Tallstar, who have no recollection of StormClan. As Galestar speaks, the spirits of the long-forgotten StormClan ancestors materialize, including Stripestar. Galestar angrily confronts her former mate for abandoning them, but Stripestar insists that he did all he could to try to find them. StormClan's ancestors warmly greet Galestar as they apologize for leaving her.

Quotes[]
- "And you expect that to win our confidence? We respect Galestar as one of our ancestors, but we have no reason to respect StormClan. They abandoned Galestar. They left her and her kits to die."
- ―Hunt Growl about Galestar Ivypool's Heart, page 322
- Icewing: "Perhaps you need to face your pain. Once you accept what happened, instead of just trying to pretend that it's all over with, you'll probably feel better."
- Galestar: "How am I supposed to do that? All the cats who were involved are long dead. Even StormClan doesn't seem to exist anymore."
