"If the others hunted for so long and found so little, how are we going to do any better?"
— Gooseberry to Thunderstar in Thunderstar's Echo, chapter 2

Gooseberry is a pale yellow tabby she-cat.[1]

History[]

In the Super Editions[]

Moth Flight's Vision[]

She is mentioned when Pink Eyes complains about kit-watching, supposing that he feels useful making the new family, Gooseberry and Yew Tail, feel welcome. Moth Flight later glances at an empty nest, asking if it's Apple Blossom and Snail Shell's nest. Cloud Spots tells her that they share it with Gooseberry.

In the Novellas[]

Thunderstar's Echo[]

Thunderstar threatens to send two arguing cats to pick ticks off Gooseberry. Then, she shares a vole with Yew Tail. Thunderstar asks for another hunting patrol to go out, as they are short of food, and Gooseberry, avoiding eye contact, asks how they'll have much luck if the last patrol found little.
