Graysky is a broad-shouldered[8] silver tabby[5] tom.[1]

Graysky is a RiverClan warrior under Icestar's leadership in the lake territories. He was born under Mistystar's leadership as Graykit to Jayclaw and Curlfeather alongside his sisters, Mistkit and Frostkit. His father Jayclaw died during their kithood, leaving their mother fiercely protective of her kits. As an apprentice, Graypaw was mentored by Breezeheart. However, before he could earn his warrior name, Mistystar and Reedwhisker abruptly died, sending RiverClan into a succession crisis. Graypaw and Mistpaw waited for their warrior names with each new leader. When Splashtail became leader, he named him Graysludge as punishment for his mother's treachery. Following Splashtail's defeat, Mistslime and Graysludge sought refuge in SkyClan and changed their names back to 'paws. When Icestar became leader, she appointed Graypaw the new name of Graysky.

Graykit is mentioned by Mistystar at a Gathering. She mentions he and his siblings were born to Curlfeather and Jayclaw.

He is now an apprentice named Graypaw and his mentor is Breezeheart. His father, Jayclaw, had died when he was young, and their mother Curlfeather grew fiercely protective of them. He and his sister, Mistpaw, wish Frostpaw good luck when she leaves for the Moonpool to officially become Mothwing's apprentice. At a Gathering, Graypaw mocks Flamepaw for not passing his assessment, but is told off by Sunbeam. When Curlfeather is chosen by StarClan to be their next leader, Graypaw and his littermates nuzzle their mother affectionately. Following Curlfeather's death, Graypaw and Mistpaw comfort Frostpaw, reminding her that they are the only family they have left. He seeks his mentor's comfort later.

After Owlnose is chosen as leader, Mothwing encourages Frostpaw to properly grieve for Curlfeather's death, suggesting she should spend time with Mistpaw and Graypaw. Frostpaw declines since her littermates have already had time to grieve. Graypaw later shares a trout with Mistpaw when Frostpaw joins them. Graypaw asks Owlnose twice if he and Mistpaw could receive their warrior names, though he insists he will do it once he has earned his nine lives. He later goes on a border patrol with Splashtail and Breezeheart. During the battle against ShadowClan, Graypaw and Breezeheart fight against Tawnypelt and Sunbeam. After the battle, Tigerstar orders Graypaw and Mistpaw to help Cloverfoot hunt.

A few days after Tigerstar's takeover of RiverClan, Frostpaw shares prey with her littermates and they gossip how strange it is having ShadowClan cats in their camp. Graypaw and Mistpaw demonstrate their new battle move they have learned and compliment Frostpaw when she attempts it on her own. Frostpaw briefly wonders what it will be like to train alongside her littermates since she believes she cannot communicate with StarClan. After they finish eating, Graypaw and Mistpaw clean out the elders' den with Icewing. Later, Tigerstar announces that Graypaw and Mistpaw will have their warrior assessments soon once a new RiverClan leader is found. After Frostpaw switches to training as a warrior, she frequently trains alongside her littermates, who hope they might all become warriors together. However, Graypaw and Mistpaw are puzzled by their sister's decision to give up her medicine cat training, since their mother was always insistent on Frostpaw becoming a medicine cat.

When Whistlepaw and Kestrelflight announce that they have found traces of Frostpaw's blood on the moor, her littermates, Graypaw and Mistpaw, yowl in grief.

"Your littermates doubt Splashtail, but we've advised them to keep it quiet for now. If it comes down to a battle, we can count on their help. Still, they're young, and I want to protect them as much as I can."

When Frostpaw arrives at the Gathering, Graypaw and Mistpaw excitedly greet their sister. Later, Mothwing tells Frostpaw that Graypaw and Mistpaw might have doubts about Splashtail's leadership, and Duskfur confirms this after a Gathering. Later, Frostpaw spots Graypaw battle training with his mentor Breezeheart with claws unsheathed.
