StormClan's Folly[]

"Two leaders... By the Tribe of Endless Hunting, how strange! Then come with us. We will go now to the Cave of Pointed Stones."
―Gust's bewilderment at Stripestar and Galestar's joint leadership StormClan's Folly, page 159
Gust is a prey-hunter for the Tribe of Rushing Water. Alongside several Tribemates, he confronts StormClan, seeming confused when Stripestar asks if he has heard of the forest. When a yellow she-cat snarls at him that the mountains belong to the Tribe, Gust stops her, calling her Lightning. He suggests that they allow Stoneteller to judge the newcomers, and introduces himself and Lightning to StormClan. Stripestar and Galestar are hopeful at the sound of those names, interpreting them as a sign for StormClan.
Gust and Lightning lead StormClan to the tree-rock, where they say that StormClan must remain while Stripestar and Galestar follow them to the Cave of Pointed Stones. The Tribe cats are bewildered by the concept of a group having two leaders. Gust and Lightning lead the two mates to the Cave of Pointed Stones, and when they enter, Gust points out Stoneteller, to which she thanks him. Soon after Stripestar and Galestar speak with Stoneteller, StormClan settles with the Tribe temporarily to rest, and Galestar remembers Gust and several cave-guards bringing prey and how Gust had rejected her gratitude, saying that the prey belongs to the mountains.
