- Upon SkyClan's return with the other Clans in the lake territories, Alderheart and the other medicine cats happily witness that SkyClan's ancestors have joined StarClan.

Cloudstar's Journey[]
- Hatchkit is a kit of SkyClan. He is born to Hazelwing, and his siblings are Emberkit, Mistlekit, and Webkit. When Cloudstar returns to camp with SkyClan's deputy, Buzzardtail, Hazelwing's kits follow Cloudstar, begging to learn battle moves from him. Hazelwing rushes over and apologizes to Cloudstar about her kits because it was the only way to keep the nursery peaceful and quiet because of Birdflight. Cloudstar lets the kits learn battle moves, and as Birdflight leaves the nursery at that moment, he tells the kits to go to the hazel bush and stretch.
- After Cloudstar informs SkyClan about the trees falling in their territory, the Clan resumes its normal activity, and Birdflight helps Hazelwing get her kits back to the nursery. Petalfall shares some prey with Hazelwing and her kits. At a Gathering, Cloudstar mentions that Hazelwing's litter is growing well, but they tire out cats from their games. He adds that they will become apprentices in three moons. A few days later, Petalfall dies, and Hazelwing brings her kits past her body during the vigil, and all four are wide-eyed and curious as to what happened.
- When SkyClan's prey is disappearing quickly, Hazelwing's kits hate the taste of water vole and complain about their hunger very loudly all the time. When Cloudstar takes his Clan to their last Gathering at Fourtrees, Hazelwing, her litter, Birdflight, and her kits, Spottedkit and Gorsekit, are there. The kits lag behind because of tiredness, and are so exhausted that they aren't enjoying the thrill of their first and only Gathering.
