On January 31st, 2025, the Warriors website teased that a second apprentice point-of-view character will be introduced in this book.^[4]
On February 16th, 2025, the Warrior Cats official social medias teased the title of the book.^[5]
Hidden Moon is the first main-series book to be written by Clarissa Hutton, likely due to the retirement of Kate Cary from writing the Warriors series in 2024 following Star's release.^[1]^[6]
