Hunt Fly is a large wildcat tabby[2] tom.[1]
In StormClan's Folly, after rescuing Galestar and her kits, Bound Hunt introduces her to his companions, Hunt Fly and Whisper Groom. As they approach across the boulders, Galestar notes their size and power, realizing that they are curious about her. She tells them her kits' names—Thrushkit, Pebblekit, and Fogkit—and the wildcats bow in response. The three wildcats lead Galestar and her kits to their camp, with Hunt Fly and Whisper Groom positioning themselves on either side of the patrol. Galestar rests with the wildcats and wakes during a storm. Alarmed, she asks Hunt Fly, who is guarding the camp, when the storm started. He reassures her not to be afraid, saying that the rain started in the evening and that it is now moonhigh.
