Lark is a gray-and-white she-cat.[2]
In Thunder, Lark is a queen and has two kits, Peg and Weevil. Marlow introduces Frostpaw and Nightheart to Lark and her kits. Like the other Cats of the Park residents, Lark told her kits stories about Riverstar coming back to life to save them from rogues, though she doubted its legitimacy. Later, she beckons her kits away from a rat that Waffle, Nightheart, and Rook had caught. She later bids farewell to Frostpaw, Nightheart, Waffle, and Wasp when they return home.
