In the Dawn of the Clans arc[]
The Sun Trail[]
- Storm gives birth to her kits after leaving Clear Sky's camp. Gray Wing asks if he can see them, and the queen rejects him, but he remains adamant to help his kin. He returns with a hare for Storm, but finds a monster attacking the Twoleg den she made her nest in and finds the bodies of the queen and two of her kits. Gray Wing manages to rescue one of the kits, and solemnly tells his brother, Clear Sky, that Storm and the other two kits were killed.
Thunder Rising[]
- Thunder recalls his deceased littermates occasionally, even telling Star Flower about them. Turtle Tail and Gray Wing both recall the kits too, the latter remembering how he had tried to save them after Storm tried raising them alone. Clear Sky thinks about how things might have been different had he not driven Storm and their kits away with his power-hungry ways. This leaves Thunder wondering if, had his father shown concern for his kits, they might still be alive.

- It is mentioned how Storm left the forest while expecting kits. Gray Wing risked his life to save one of Storm's three kits, but was not able to save two of them. On Clear Sky's page, it is mentioned that Storm bore three kits, but only one survived after the Twoleg den they lived in collapsed. It is also mentioned she became impatient when Clear Sky tried to pamper her while she was carrying kits. She made a nest in an abandoned Twoleg den where she had Thunder and the kits. However, the two kits died when Twolegs demolished the den.
