"Do you really think you and that fleabag can drive us away? We're the ones who own these bins. The sooner you learn that, the better."
— Mae to Tigerheart and Dash in Tigerheart's Shadow, page 125

Mae is a big brown tabby she-cat.[1]

In the Super Editions[]

Tigerheart's Shadow[]

"It's nice to see a tom who looks like he can feed himself."
―Mae to Tigerheart Tigerheart's Shadow, page 125
Though unnamed, Dash mentions her when he tells Tigerheart about how the rot pile cats have been bullying him. She is then seen digging around the top of the rot pile. When Tigerheart approaches Mae, she looks at him in surprise and flicks her tail flirtatiously. She says a greeting, adding that he must be new around here. A hiss from below asks who she's talking to, and Mae replies that he's just a stranger. She glances back at the dark tabby tom and winks, telling him that it's nice to see a tom who looks like he can feed himself.
When Tigerheart says he has moved in with Dash, Mae's gaze instantly hardens, and she curls her lip, asking if they really think they can drive them away. She adds that they own these bins, and the sooner Tigerheart and Dash learn that, the better. With a hiss, she flings herself at the ShadowClan tom. He dodges and turns to meet Mae's attack. The tom wraps his paws around her, rolling over the trash towards the edge of the rot pile. They roll off together, Mae still in Tigerheart's grip as they land. She struggles and hisses; he flings her away.
Growling, Mae asks Floyd if he's going to fight the two intruders, and he retorts that she should fight him. The she-cat indignantly snaps that he threw her off the rot pile. Mae looks at Scrap, asking if he'll defend her. As the rot pile cats leave, defeated, the brown tabby she-cat shoots Tigerheart a look and tells him that he didn't have to get mean. He replies that she and her friends have been bullying Dash, and she retorts it's his own fault for being so pathetic.
