- Upon SkyClan's return with the other Clans in the lake territories, Alderheart and the other medicine cats happily witness SkyClan's ancestors have joined StarClan.

Cloudstar's Journey[]
- Maplestar is an ancient SkyClan leader. Maplestar appears in Cloudstar's slumber, and he recognizes her as one of that cats that had given him a life in his leader ceremony. She purrs and welcomes him to StarClan, causing Cloudstar to ask if she had brought him there for a reason. She twitches her ears as she informs him everything is fine, telling him how proud she is of SkyClan and that it will survive forever. Maplestar invites for him to walk with her, and as they walk side by side, she mentions the SkyClan founder Clear Sky. The ginger she-cat explains how he worked hard to find a territory good enough to supply food and shelter for SkyClan, to protect it from the other jealous Clans, and how SkyClan was the first to mark their borders.
- Suddenly, Rowanstar appears from a clump of ferns, and Maplestar introduces him to Cloudstar. Rowanstar explains that he is one of the leaders that decided that borders should be marked and patrolled daily. This makes Maplestar pipe up that she remembers the issue was brought up at a Gathering—because his warriors were straying too often on ThunderClan territory. While Rowanstar argues back, another cat rumbles that he made the largest contribution to the warrior code, compared to them. The cat speaking turns out to be Darkstar, who comments that it is rare for him, Rowanstar, and Maplestar to be in the same woods, and while they had both brought strength and honor to SkyClan, he had made the leader's word law.
