In the Dawn of the Clans arc[]
The Blazing Star[]
- Melting Ice is the only daughter of Dewy Leaf and Sharp Hail. Sun Shadow spots her outside their family's sleeping hollows when he returns, wrestling with Falling Dusk and Morning Star to see who can jump the highest. She calls out to Sun Shadow to play with her when he gets back inside after driving a "hawk" away, though they were really only bats. Sun Shadow declines for now, and he tells her he will play with her later. Later that night, Melting Ice is spotted again sleeping beside her brothers, nestled within the curve of her mother's body.
