Midgepelt is a brown tom with patchy fur.^[1]

In Mapleshade's Vengeance, Midgepelt is a WindClan warrior. He is described as an old tom.

He is with a hunting patrol, racing after a rabbit at the border. Mapleshade grabs the rabbit and climbs a tree. The patrol scrambles to a halt, not knowing Mapleshade is above them with their prey. One of them points out the trail ends at the tree. Midgepelt says he doesn't know how they can smell anything as the smell of fox is overwhelming. Mapleshade keeps waiting for them to look up, but the cats just sniff around for a bit before heading deeper in WindClan territory, grumbling of vanishing prey. Mapleshade thinks they are fools.
