The following is a list of characters that do not fit the guidelines for receiving their own page, whether it be due to lack of a name, proper history, or other matters. This page lists minor characters from Firestar's Quest.
This article is a stub. This article needs vast improvements and you can help the Warriors Wiki by expanding it.
Firestar falls asleep and wakes up to find the StarClan warrior in the distance staring that him. Around the warrior, Firestar notices Highstones from afar.
White kittypet tom[]
"Well... I think I saw a ginger cat... oh, about five days ago. Or was that a tortoiseshell?"
Firestar finds the kittypet tom while on his search for Sandstorm, and he asks him if he has seen any ginger cats lately. He says he has seen Firestar, but Firestar responses in a frustrated way he is not looking for himself. The kittypet says he may have seen a ginger cat five days ago, or it may have been a tortoiseshell. Firestar then asks how to get back to the river, but the kittypet does not know this either. The two cats part ways after that.
Trivia:
According to Firestar, the kittypet looks like Cloudtail.[2] In Su Susann's "Missing Kits" on Vicky's Facebook, the white kittypet that Firestar meets is named Oliver and is the father of Cloudtail and his littermates. He was also described as a plump, white kittypet with long, snowy fur and brilliant blue eyes.[4]
Firestar is led to a Twoleg nest by Shorty in search of Sandstorm. Shorty hangs back as he claims she is short-tempered and a good fighter. Promising he can handle it, he proceeds onward, calling for Sandstorm, and is promptly confronted by the she-cat. Her fur bristles, her teeth are bared, and her back is arched as she demands to know what he is doing in her garden. Firestar tries to state he is only looking for his mate but never gets to finish his sentence as the kittypet bowls him over and rakes her claws down his side, hissing he is a trespasser. Sandstorm ends up pulling her off Firestar, and the kittypet flees back to her nest.
Tabby kit[]
"How much farther?"
―The tabby kit complaining to his mother Firestar's Quest, page 175
The gray queen gives both her kits comforting licks while they complain about the journey. She tells them that SkyClan will find a better home away from the forest. Firestar can tell from her eyes that she does not believe what she os saying either.
Firestar watches the long-furred tabby kit runs straight at him. He tries to move out the way and realizes none of the ancient SkyClan cats can see him. He observes how thin they were, and sees their ribs through their ungroomed pelts.
Black-and-white elder[]
"I can't go on any farther. You'll have to go on without me."
―The black-and-white elder to the warriors Firestar's Quest, page 176
The elder lies on his side and breathes heavily. He tells the nearby warriors that he cannot continue with the journey, but Buzzardtail tells the elder to continue. The black-and-white tom claims that the Clan should have never left the forest, but Buzzardtail tries to lift the cat's hopes. He mentions that there will be no Clans to bother them, no prey stealing, and no Twolegs. The elder claims theres always been five Clans in the forest, but the ginger tom dismisses him.
Firestar attempts to hunt a bird in the thick mist, until the dark brown rogue scares the bird away. The two cats have a stand off until the dark brown rogue flattens his ears and slinks off into the bushes.
Lowbranch's mother[]
"My mother's mother was born into the Clan. By the time I was born, SkyClan was no more, but my mother taught me the ways of a Clan warrior."
―Skywatcher to Firestar and Sandstorm Firestar's Quest, page 235
She is the mother of Lowbranch and was born in SkyClan. Like the rest of the Clan, she was driven out and forced to become either a rogue or a loner. While showing the former SkyClan border to Firestar and Sandstorm, Sky points out a tree stump and says his mother told him her mother remembered when it was a tree.
Moons later, when Sandstorm tells Bramblestar about the journey to restore SkyClan, she explains how Sky knew the ways of a warrior because his grandmother passed the knowledge down to his mother, Lowbranch. Because of that, Lowbranch was able to pass her knowledge onto Sky, keeping SkyClan's memory alive.
Trivia:
On Vicky's Facebook, Lowbranch's mother was Honeyleaf and her mate was Swallowflight. They became loners after they left SkyClan.[11]
Sky explains how Pricklenose's kits were taught by his mother Lowbranch, because there was a tradition for mothers to teach each other's kits how to hunt instead of teaching them themselves.
Tiny, Rock, and Bounce's father[]
"My kits' father went away before they were born, and it's hard bringing them up on my own."
Hutch mentions to Firestar he has heard about cats living in the gorge, as his mother used to tell him about them. Later after Hutch becomes Shortwhisker, he mentions his mother again. Shortwhisker explains his mother told him that if cats fall asleep the night a cat dies, then they will die too.
Foxy's brother[]
"Remember Foxy? He went to sleep the night his brother died, and a couple of days later a monster got him."
When SkyClan discuss falling asleep after a cat died will cause them to die too, Sharpclaw mentions Foxy's brother. He explains Foxy slept the night his brother passed away, then was killed by a monster. Leafdapple adds that she remembers that, but Firestar insists Foxy's death after his brother's death is just a coincidence.
After Clovertail rescues Bouncekit from falling in the river, she reveals to Firestar that her mother taught her how to fish. Because of this, Firestar wonders if she has RiverClan ancestry.
↑It was stated within Firestar's Quest that Lowbranch's mother became either a rogue or a loner, but did not specify which one. Both are listed for accuracy's sake.[10]
