A WindClan patrol is still taking water from RiverClan's river, despite the rain. The tom is part of a RiverClan patrol with Mistyfoot and Hawkfrost. They pad down a slope and stop a few tail-lengths away from the WindClan patrol. The WindClan patrol eventually start to leave, hissing at the WindClan patrol. Leafpaw, who is viewing from ThunderClan, notes that Mistyfoot has her work cut out holding back Hawkfrost and her black-furred Clanmate, as they were badly out-numbered. When the WindClan patrol has gone, Mistyfoot gathers Hawkfrost and the black warrior to lead them down beside the river. Mistyfoot goes to speak to Leafpaw but the black tom stays where he is, keeping guard beside the riverbank. After they talk, Leafpaw watches the black tom and the rest of the patrol pad away upriver. |
