Ravenpaw, Barley, Riley and Bella are woken from their sleep by a bunch of kittypets staring at them. Ravenpaw notes they are definitely not SkyClan warriors but are kittypets and are not welcoming at all. They have sleek, glossy fur and are plump and overfed rather than well-muscled with mean eyes. Pasha tells the wild cats to return where they came from and Barley challenges him. A ginger and white kittypet defends Pasha, saying they heard what he said and demands they go away. Another kittypet asks to go run through the gorge because it’s more fun. The ginger-and-white she-cat agrees, calling the travelling loners a bunch of weasels and saying they will be too easy to fight. Pasha leads his friends away into the shadows and later, they are seen terrorizing SkyClan in the gorge.
She-cat with silver and black patches
"This is boring, Pasha. I’m getting cold. Can’t we run through the gorge like we did last night? That was way more fun."
Three of the cats step forward to loom over the travelling loners as they are told to go away. Eventually, a she-cat with silver and black patches tells Pasha that she is bored and getting bored. She asks to run through the gorge like they did the previous night as it was much more fun. Pasha agrees and leads his friends into the shadows. That night at the gorge, the she-cat with silver and black patches is seen helping to terrorize SkyClan in the gorge as she asked to do before. When SkyClan waits for the kittypets to come and fights back, Ravenpaw crashes into a she-cat with distinctive black and silver fur and realizes it’s one of the kittypets that tormented him and SkyClan before. The she-cat asks if they are still here and Barley replies they are more welcome then the kittypets are, slamming into her side. The she-cat jumps away before leaping at the two loners with unsheathed claws. Ravenpaw slams at her haunches and the she-cat drops onto the ground with a snarl before getting her hind legs back under her and kicks Ravenpaw’s belly. Barley rakes kittypet back and the she-cat flees, shrieking as she runs away.
