During the Gathering, after Swiftstar announces that SkyClan may be no more, a RiverClanwarrior claims that they have betrayed the prophecy of the Blazing Star.
During the Gathering, when Birchstar announces how WindClan and ThunderClan united to take over Sunningrocks, a RiverClan warrior questions why they are working together.
RiverClan warrior[]
"Bullies! What, do you think you can steal even more territory this way?"
During the Gathering, when Galestar and Stripestar announce StormClan, a RiverClan warrior who participated in the battle for Sunningrocks accuses them of wanting to steal more territory.
Apprentice[]
"Fire! Twolegs were burning something, and the trees caught fire! It's spreading, getting closer! We have to escape!"
Galestar's pregnancy is what convinces Stripestar and Galestar to unite their Clans as StormClan. Their Clanmates interpret Galestar's pregnancy as a sign of StarClan's approval. When StarClan revokes their nine lives, Galestar reassures Stripestar that their unborn kits are fine. In early greenleaf, Galestar begins to experience sudden boughs of pain. The Clan is forced to hurried flee from ThunderClan's camp when a fire breaks out, and a falling branch injures Galestar's flank. Her kits begin to arrive once they reach the moor, though the three kits are stillborn. One cat interprets it as punishment from StarClan, though Pebblenose tells them to shut up.
Seasons later, Stripestar and Galestar finally discuss their grief over their lost litter during StormClan's journey to find a new home. Both Galestar and Stripestar agree to honor their memory.
After the death of Galestar and Stripestar's kits, Galestar notices Hazelfrond whisper to her mate that the deaths were a punishment from StarClan. Pebblenose rounds on Hazelfrond to shut up, though Galestar dismisses the warriors.
When Stripestar attempts to visit Birchstar, a patrol of warriors watch him from across the reeds. They sneer at Stripestar for having the audacity to show up at their border.

When Galestar attempts to convince her sister to come with her, Crowflight insists that due to their WindClan heritage and relation to the founder herself, they should stay in order to protect their Clan.
Upon their arrival to the wildcats' camp, a group of elder wildcats hold a brief conversation. One of them asks Bound Hunt why he has brought strange cats to their home. Bound Hunt explains how he found Galestar and her kits lost and hungry and offered them shelter. Later, the elder participates in the prowler ceremony for the five trainees.

Upon their arrival to the wildcats' camp, a wildcat she-cat roughly grooms Fogkit. She notes to one of her companions that Thrushkit needs special care. After Fogkit falls asleep, the she-cat carries her to the den at the edge of the clearing to rest.

During the ceremony at the Star Tree to welcome Galestar and her kits into the group, an ancestor named Roll Flick speaks through an old elder tom-cat to choose Thrushkit. Galestar notes how the wildcat elder stands tall with youth. Later, the elder participates in the prowler ceremony for the five trainees.
A different ancestor, named Nuzzle Hiss, speaks through another elder to welcome Fogkit into the group. Later, the elder participates in the prowler ceremony for the five trainees.
Bound Hunt's teacher[]
"You couldn't do it the first time. Neither could I. In fact, when I first tried that move, I nearly took my teacher's ear off!"
Five elders, excluding Dream Flow, participate in the prowler ceremonies for Pebble Lunge, Thrush Roll, Fog Nuzzle, Flutter Sneeze, and Wiggle Leap. All five leaders stand behind the trainees as conduits for their ancestor guides. The elder and trainee touch foreheads so the ancestor guide may communicate with their trainee. Afterwards, Dream Flow declares them a prowler of the wildcats!
Tinyclaw welcomes two loners into their makeshift camp at Highstones in hopes of growing their ranks, though Stripestar has his doubts about the underfed loners. The ginger she-cat is skeptical after hearing stories about ThunderClan and their leader, shooting a meaningful glance at Stripestar. He admits that he is no longer leader of ThunderClan. Still suspicious at Stripestar, the she-cat agrees to join ThunderClan as a warrior.
Tinyclaw welcomes two loners into their makeshift camp at Highstones in hopes of growing their ranks, though Stripestar has his doubts about the underfed loners. When Stripestar admits that he is no longer leader of ThunderClan, the gray tom asks what he plans to do after helping to persuade StarClan to let ThunderClan stay. Stripestar is unsure, and the ginger she-cat agrees that they will join ThunderClan.
Seasons later, Stripebark spots a black-and-white pelt disappearing across the riverbank after ThunderClan's victory at Sunningrocks. Stripebark thinks for a moment that they might be Galestar, but he soon recognizes the cat as a young RiverClan apprentice.
