History: During the battle against the Dark Forest, the Dark Forest warrior tells Sparrowfeather and Darkstripe to come. The cat's voice sounds from on a slope and they start to charge past. They say Dovewing and Cloudtail are beaten. They command their Clanmates to let them bleed to death as they are attacking ThunderClan camp. Sparrowfeather races after the warrior. Dovewing tells Cloudtail they're attacking camp and the tom says they have to stop them.

History: During the battle against the Dark Forest, Pinenose wails over the dead kit. Tallpoppy picks up the small, lifeless body of the kit and takes Pinenose behind the safety of some brambles, laying down her kit at her paws.
Trivia: When asked about them, Kate said that Happykit, a name given by the fandom, sounded like a good name.[8]

History: During the battle against the Dark Forest, the dark forest warrior is part of a group with three others, pacing at the far corner of ShadowClan camp. They watch ShadowClan like foxes waiting for cornered prey to wear themselves out. A line of ShadowClan warriors face them. Graystripe asks why ShadowClan isn't fighting against them and Littlecloud asks if he wants to lose more warriors. The Dark Forest warrior lets out an ominous growl. His fur flashes in Lionblaze's vision as he pushes through the line of ShadowClan warriors and hurls himself at Graystripe. Graystripe swipes at the tom, forcing him backwards. The ThunderClan warrior suggests he waits for backup before trying that again. The Dark Forest warrior glares at him, but slinks back towards his allies. Lionblaze notes that the warrior and his Clanmates are waiting for the next wave of Dark Forest cats to aid them. The ShadowClan cats move forward slowly, and the Dark forest warriors shuffle uneasily. Lionblaze tells Russetfur to keep moving enough to distract them. Help for the Dark Forest warrior and his patrol soon arrives.

Lionblaze orders Ratscar to try to force them apart and not let them form a line. Emberfoot, Robinwing and Ferretclaw lash out at the Dark Forest warriors. The three cats disappear beneath the bristling Dark Forest warriors and Lionblaze attacks them. Graystripe yowls they are overrunning them, throwing Dark forest cats aside with mighty swipes. Ancient cats appear and they stream along the Dark Forest patrol. Midnight appears, and Dark Forest cats flee from her path, eyes light up in terror. After Shredtail is killed, the Dark Forest cats back off and turn tail to flee from ShadowClan camp. Blackstar asks Lionblaze if they will now get rid of these fox-hearts, indicating to the remaining Dark Forest warriors.

She notes they will soon break out of the Place of No Stars, straight into the heart of ThunderClan. Dovewing blocks out the noise of their pawsteps. Birchfall, Mousewhisker and Blossomfall race into camp and Blossomfall warns they saw the Dark Forest patrol, they are coming. The patrol then arrives, flooding into the hollow. Later when Brokenstar is killed though, Thistleclaw calls for them to retreat. The patrol's pelts swoop past the tom like bats as they flee.

History: During the battle against the Dark Forest, a tortoiseshell attacks Dovewing and hits her ribs with their paws. This tortoiseshell asks Dovewing why don't she give up, lunging at her and grabbing her paw in their jaw. The ThunderClan warrior replies she’d rather die, hooking the tortoiseshell’s lip and pulling. Giving a squeal, the Dark Forest cat in turn rakes Dovewing’s muzzle and tries to strike back but is pulled back by a tabby ally of the tortoiseshell.

History

During the battle against the Dark Forest, Cinderheart lunges at the Dark Forest warrior and tears at his cheek, spraying blood across his fur. Cinderheart yowls they killed her friend Hollyleaf and declares they’ll pay for it. Ivypool bites down on the orange-and-black tom’s paw while Dovewing lands square on his back. The Dark Forest tom tries to buck her off and Dovewing notes his muscles are as hard as stone. The Dark Forest warrior’s hind leg is hooked out from under him and is unbalanced. Dovewing lets go of the tom and he staggers into his fellow Dark Forest warriors.

Lionblaze says they are Ancient allies from before StarClan. They are on their side. Thistleclaw snarls the Tribe of Endless Hunting won't save ThunderClan now, referring to them as fading elders.

History: During the battle against the Dark Forest, as Mousefur and Longtail talk, the Dark Forest tom leaps forward. He knocks Longtail out of his way and grabs Mousefur in his jaws, killing the elder. Longtail dives for the tabby and bites down on the tabby’s spine. The tom gasps and lets go, falling to the ground and twitching.

History

During the battle against the Dark Forest, the Dark Forest tom blocks Dovewing's way, snarling he thought he pick off the weakest. He darts forward, aiming for Dovewing’s throat but is intercepted by Bumblestripe who grabs his scruff and drags him backwards. Dovewing slashes at the Dark Forest warrior’s exposed belly until Bumblestripe lets go. Both cats drive the tom backwards before Bumblestripe knocks him sideways and Dovewing knocks his paws out from under him. The Dark Forest tom crashes onto his side before being lunged at by both cats. He gives a panicked screech, struggling away from their grip and racing for the thorn barrier, past Molepaw and Cherrypaw.

History: During the battle against the Dark Forest, the Dark Forest tom is driven towards the fallen beech in ThunderClan camp by Poppyfrost and Honeyfern. He is jabbed and swiped at by the she-cats. He is then thrust backwards by a powerful kick from Poppyfrost before bein batted to the ground by Honeyfern with a final swipe.

History: During the battle against the Dark Forest, Firestar flicks his tail to the Dark Forest warriors racing from ThunderClan camp out of the hollow entrance. Firestar tells Runningwind to take Dustpelt and make sure the Dark Forest cats flee all the way back to the Place of No Stars, calling them fox-hearts. Lionheart offers to come, saying it has been a long time he has chased the kind of prey the Dark Forest warriors are. Bumblestripe tells Dovewing they'll make sure the Dark Forest cats never come back, calling them Dark Forest cowards. Sandstorm comes too in case the Dark Forest warriors fleeing is a trap.
