The Warriors series is incredibly long, with each book published in a relatively short span of time. As a result, mistakes often appear in the novels, the images, and in the official website devoted to the series. For brevity, these articles do not contain grammatical or spelling errors. This article documents many of these mistakes in the A Vision of Shadows arc.
The stream that separates ThunderClan territory from WindClan territory is mistakenly described as separating WindClan territory from ShadowClan territory.[16]
While Rabbitleap is seen helping to free Finpaw from the fallen branch,[38] he is said to have gone hunting, and he is soon after seen in the SkyClan camp.[39]
RiverClan's territory is mistakenly said to border ThunderClan's.[40]
Violetpaw and Twigpaw are said to have barely opened their eyes when Pebbleshine went missing.[42] However, when Alderpaw and Needlepaw originally found them, their eyes were still closed.[43]
Molewhisker is seen following Lionblaze into camp to help Snowbush despite being on the journey with SkyClan's group.[49][50]
Tree says that he met Needletail when she was an apprentice, and did not see her again until after she had died,[51] but in the prologue he calls her Needletail instead of Needlepaw[52], despite having no way to know she had changed her name if that was the second time he had seen her.
Finpaw and Twigpaw are listed in SkyClan, despite having left to join ThunderClan in Darkest Night.[53]
Beetlewhisker is listed[53] despite dying in The Last Hope.[54]
He also still has an apprentice, Harepaw,[53] despite having died many books ago.
Heronwing is listed,[53] despite dying in Shattered Sky.[31]
Cherrytail and Cloudmist are not listed in the allegiances, despite joining SkyClan in the previous book.[53]
Bramblestar tells Twigpaw that he was an apprentice when Graystripe left to join RiverClan, although in reality he was still a kit at the time.[55][56]
In the audiobook, Sandynose is mistakenly called a she-cat.[57]
It is stated that Tawnypelt and Scorchfur are guarding Juniperclaw,[65] however in the next scene, it says that Tawnypelt and Strikestone were guarding him.[66]
