The Warriors series is incredibly long, with each book published in a relatively short span of time. As a result, mistakes often appear in the novels, the images, and in the official website devoted to the series. This article documents many of these mistakes in the A Vision of Shadows arc.

The Apprentice's Quest.6 guess wat yer butt!

  • Beetlewhisker is listed, despite having died in The Last Hope.[1]
  • Dustpelt is said to have died in the Great Storm, when he was actually killed by badgers.[2]
  • Alderkit is mistakenly called by his apprentice name shortly before his ceremony.[3]
  • A sentence is mistakenly typed to read, "Needlepaw gave her ears and impatient flick." instead of "Needlepaw gave her ears an impatient flick."[4]

Thunder and Shadow

  • Larkwing is listed as an apprentice.[5]
  • Beetlewhisker is listed, despite having died in The Last Hope.[5]
  • The word "a" is missing from a sentence. The sentence reads, "She probably had lot of friends in ThunderClan."[6]
  • Tawnypelt is called the ShadowClan deputy.[7]
  • The word ears is misspelled as eats.[8]
  • Despite Cloudtail being told to guard Furzepelt's body,[9] he is seen back at camp.[10]
  • Juniperpaw is called a she-cat.[11]
  • Twigpaw is called Twigkit after receiving her apprentice name.[12]
  • Medicine den is spelled with a hyphen, so that it reads, "medicine-den" on multiple occasions.[13][14]
  • Medicine cat is spelled with a hyphen, so that it reads, "medicine-cat," on multiple occasions.[15][16][17][18][19]
  • Wavepaw is mistakenly called a tom on multiple occasions.[20]
  • Brindlepaw is mistakenly called a tom.[20]
  • Twice on one page, Alderheart is called by his apprentice name after being made a full medicine cat.[21]
  • The stream that separates ThunderClan territory from WindClan territory is mistakenly described as separating WindClan territory from ShadowClan territory.[22]
  • A sentence reads looked confused he stopped when it should have read as looked confused as he stopped.[23]
  • A sentence reads didn't move from their mentors' side. It should be ...their mentors' sides.[24]
  • Crowfrost is mistakenly described as the ShadowClan leader during a confrontation with Bramblestar.[25]
  • The word beat is misspelled as best.[26]
  • There is an extra word in a sentence. A sentence reads, "Then he leaned toward to Alderpaw."[27]
  • Puddleshine is mistakenly called Pinenose.[28]
  • A sentence reads "Violetpaw's gasped at Crowfrost's words." when it should read "Violetpaw gasped..."[29]
  • Violetkit is mistakenly called Violetpaw before receiving her apprentice name.[30]
  • Twigkit is mistakenly called Twigpaw before receiving her apprentice name.[31]
  • "You're" is incorrectly used. It should be, "Your".[32]

Shattered Sky

  • Wasptail is listed in the allegiances, despite dying in Thunder and Shadow.[33]
  • When Twigpaw is listed in the allegiances, apprentice is spelled with an extra c, so that it reads "Apprenctice" instead.[33]
  • Rain is said to have both of his eyes despite losing one.[34]
  • Beetlewhisker is shown alive despite dying in The Last Hope.[35]
  • Medicine cat is spelled with a hyphen, so that it reads, "medicine-cat."[36]
  • Twigpaw is mistakenly called Violetpaw.[37]
  • Petalfur is said to be alive[38] despite dying earlier.[39]

Darkest Night

  • Beetlewhisker and Heronwing are listed in the allegiances, despite dying in earlier books.[40]
    • Furthermore, Beetlewhisker is given his own apprentice, Harepaw, despite his death years earlier.[40]
  • Violetpaw is called a tom.[41]
  • 'Showed off' is misspelled 'showned off'.[42]
  • Beenose is said to have been persuaded to leave the Kin, despite dying of yellowcough before then.[43]
  • Dewpaw is called a brown tabby.[44]
  • While Rabbitleap is seen helping to free Finpaw from the fallen branch,[45] he is said to have gone hunting, and he is soon after seen in the SkyClan camp.[46]
  • RiverClan's territory is mistakenly said to border ThunderClan's.[47]
  • Larksong is called a gray-and-white tom.[48]
  • "Unforgivable" is misspelled "unforgiveable".[49]
  • Violetpaw and Twigpaw are said to have barely opened their eyes when Pebbleshine went missing.[50] However, when Alderpaw and Needlepaw originally found them, their eyes were still closed.[51]
  • Cloudmist is called tortoiseshell-and-white. [52]
  • Medicine cat is spelled with a hyphen, so that it reads "medicine-cat," multiple times.[53][54][55][56][57]
  • Harestar is called Harespring twice.[58][59]
  • Hawkwing uses the term summer instead of greenleaf.[60]
  • Ratscar was listed as a "darn brown tom", rather than a dark brown tom.[40]
  • Needletail was mistakenly called a ShadowClan warrior, despite never earning the rank.[61]
  • Hawkwing is called Hawking.[62]

River of Fire

  • There are multiple mistakes in the allegiances:
    • Millie is called a silver tabby.[63]
    • Finpaw and Twigpaw are listed in SkyClan, despite having left already.[63]
    • Beetlewhisker is listed[63] despite dying in The Last Hope.[64]
      • He also still has an apprentice, Harepaw,[63] despite having died many books ago.
    • Heronwing is listed,[63] despite dying in Shattered Sky.[39]
  • Medicine cat is spelled with a hyphen, so that it reads, "medicine-cat," multiple times.[65][66][67][68][69]
  • Chervil root is spelled with a hyphen, so that it reads, "chervil-root."[67]
  • Bramblestar tells Twigpaw that he was an apprentice when Graystripe left to join RiverClan, although in reality he was still a kit at the time. [70][71]
  • Blossomfall is called Blossomheart.[72]
  • Burdock root is spelled with a hyphen, so that it reads, "burdock-root."[73]
  • Tree is called a rogue.[74]
  • Jayclaw is called Heronwing multiple times.[75][76][77]
  • Twigbranch is called Twigpaw after receiving her warrior name. [78]
  • Heronwing replaces Jayclaw in a section of the bonus scene.[79]

The Raging Storm

  • Millie is called a silver tabby.[80]
  • Violetshine is listed with yellow eyes.[80]
  • Beetlewhisker is listed[80] despite dying in The Last Hope.[64]
