The Warriors series is incredibly long, with each book published in a relatively short span of time. As a result, mistakes often appear in the novels, the images, and in the official website devoted to the series. This article documents many of these mistakes in the Field Guides.

  • Brightheart is mistakenly said to have both eyes.[51]
  • In the section Whitewing Speaks: My First Battle, Whitewing states that Rainwhisker died in the badger attack,[44] while in The Sight it says a tree branch fell on him, killing him. However, Sootfur, his brother, was killed in the badger attack.[52]
  • Foxheart is mentioned as a tom.[53]
  • In the section Cloudstorm Speaks: A Lesson to Kittypet Thieves, Cloudstorm states that he and Birdflight became warriors at the same time.[54] In Cloudstar's Journey, Cloudstar mentions that Birdflight is several moons older than him, and was already a warrior when he was made an apprentice.[55]
  • In the section The Victorious Clan, Seedpelt is said to have stayed behind to watch the camp during the battle between SkyClan and ThunderClan.[56] In Cloudstar's Journey, however, she is actively participating in it.[57]
