The Warriors series is incredibly long, with each book published in a relatively short span of time. As a result, mistakes often appear in the novels, the images, and in the official website devoted to the series. For brevity, these articles do not contain grammatical or spelling errors. This article documents many of these mistakes in the Omen of the Stars arc.
Several characters were left out of the allegiances of the hardcover edition of the book, despite appearing. These include Millie,[1]Rainstorm,[2]Otterheart,[3] and Sneezepaw.[3] Millie is listed, however, in the paperback release, while Sneezepaw, Otterheart, and Rainstorm are still missing.[4] All of these cats are later included in the reprinted version.
Beginning in The Fourth Apprentice and continuing throughout the series, the neutral zone is mentioned as three tail-lengths from the water.[11] However, when the lake territories were established, the neutral zone was two tail-lengths from the water.[12]
Dovepaw's eyes are mistakenly described as pale gold twice.[13][14] This is fixed in the reprinted version.
Foxleap is mistakenly called Foxtail.[15] This is fixed in the reprinted verson.

Ivypool recalls helping Furzepaw in the Dark Forest, when she actually helped Hollowpaw.[79]

Sol is mistakenly described as mottled brown-and-black.[81][82][83]
In the allegiances, Blackstar is said to have one jet black paw.[91]
In the allegiances, Poppyfrost is said to still be in the nursery, with Cherrypaw and Molepaw listed as Cherrykit and Molekit[91] despite being apprentices.[92]
Furzepelt, Whiskernose, Rushtail, Troutstream, Mossyfoot, and Hollowflight are listed as apprentices in the allegiances[91] despite being made warriors in previous books.[93][94][95]
Antpelt is once again listed in the allegiances,[91] despite having died in Sign of the Moon.[72]
Heronpaw and Stoatpaw are not mentioned in the allegiances[91] despite both appearing later in the book.[96][97]
Pinenose is listed as a warrior[91] despite being a queen later in the book.[98]
Dovewing is mistakenly said to have blue eyes several times.[91][99][100]
Jayfeather mentions that "every time he saw Leafpool or Squirrelflight or Brambleclaw, [he] felt the prick of betrayal",[102] even though he is blind and has never actually seen any of these cats in his life.[103]
