The Warriors series is incredibly long, with each book published in a relatively short span of time. As a result, mistakes often appear in the novels, the images, and in the official website devoted to the series. This article documents many of these mistakes in The Prophecies Begin arc.

Into the Wild[]

  • The allegiances are missing Rosetail,[1] and preemptively lists Firepaw,[1] even though Firepaw doesn't join ThunderClan until later, and also lists Boulder[1] joining ShadowClan alone, when he actually joined alongside Russetfur[1].
  • Oakheart is mistakenly described as bracken-colored.[2]
  • Spottedleaf is mentioned as younger than Darkstripe,[3] despite being born before him.[4]
  • Tigerclaw's slash on his muzzle is described as a scar. However, he received it in the recent battle with RiverClan, so it should still be fresh.[5]
  • Dustpaw is called Darkstripe's first apprentice[6] when in reality Longtail was his first.[7]
  • It states that Firepaw had his first bite of mouse the night before, when it was actually two nights before.[8]
  • Yellowfang is mistakenly mentioned as pale gray.[9]
  • Brightflower is mistakenly described as black-and-white.[10]
  • Bluestar appears to know Rusty's name already, despite him not telling it to her.[11]
  • Graypaw uses the term 'hand', despite cats not knowing what hands are.[12]

Fire and Ice[]

  • On the cover, Tigerclaw is missing his scarred muzzle, which he had received in the prologue of Into the Wild.[13]
  • In Tigerclaw's Fury, Stumpytail is listed as one of the cats who was exiled with Brokenstar.[14] However, in the allegiances of Fire and Ice, he is listed in ShadowClan.[15]
  • The allegiances list Swiftpaw, Cinderpaw, and Brackenpaw, despite none of them being apprentices at the start of the book. Cloudkit is also listed, despite his absence.[15]
  • Cinderpaw says that ShadowClan scent was on the stolen kits, but she herself was one of the stolen kits.[16]
  • Fireheart is mistakenly called Firepaw after he gets his warrior name.[17]
  • One-eye is referred to as a tom, despite being a female.[18]
  • Bluestar mentions that Runningwind and Dustpaw will be the ones going on the morning patrol,[19] but the next day, it's Runningwind and Sandpaw that Fireheart and Graystripe run into.[20]
  • Brackenkit is mistakenly described as ginger.[21]
  • Yellowfang is described with yellow eyes.[22]
  • Yellowfang is mistakenly referred to as a tom, despite being a she-cat.[23]
  • Nightstar is mistakenly called Nightpelt after he becomes leader.[24]
  • Sandstorm is mistakenly called Sandpaw after she gets her warrior name.[25]
  • It is said that it had been six moons since Spottedleaf had been killed,[26] and it is also stated that three moons had passed since Brokenstar was driven out,[27] however, both these events occurred on the same day.[10]
  • Graystripe is mistakenly described with amber eyes.[28]

Forest of Secrets[]

  • The allegiances contain some errors, including the preemptive listings of Cinderpelt and Cloudpaw,[29] despite both of them not having those names yet.[30][31][32]

  • Willowpelt is initially mentioned as having two she-kits and a tom, when in fact she has one she-kit and two toms.[47]
  • It said that Willowpelt is waiting her first litter.[48] However, this is false, since she is also the mother of Graystripe and Darkstripe.[49][50]

  • On the cover, Firestar's eyes appear more yellow instead of green.[70]
  • Lostface is mentioned as an apprentice, despite being a warrior.[71]
  • Mistyfoot is mistakenly called dark gray.[71]
  • The allegiances preemptively list Firestar and Whitestorm as the leader and deputy of ThunderClan, respectively,[71] before this actually happens in the book.[72][73] Fireheart is also mistakenly called Firestar in the text before officially receiving his leader name,[74][75] and he is mistakenly called Fireheart after receiving his leader name.[76]
