The Warriors series is incredibly long, with each book published in a relatively short span of time. As a result, mistakes often appear in the novels, the images, and in the official website devoted to the series. For brevity, these articles do not contain grammatical or spelling errors. This article documents many of these mistakes in the The Prophecies Begin graphic novel arc.
Swankit is mistakenly depicted as dark gray with blue eyes.[17]
Ashkit is depicted early,[18] although he is not born until much later.[19]
Thornkit is still in the nursery and is shown as a young kit,[18] although he should be the same age as Brackenpaw, Cinderpaw, and Swiftpaw, since they were kits together in the first volume.[20] He only becomes an apprentice much later.[21]
Either Taylor, Zack, Nami, or Livy are mistakenly depicted solid dark gray, white-and-ginger tabby, or white-and-brown.[22]
Dustpaw is called "Dustpelt" by Cinderpaw[23] before receiving his warrior name.[24]
Heavypaw is depicted as solid with green eyes.[25]
Nightstar is shown to have a gray muzzle in the first volume,[26] which is no longer the case in the second volume: his muzzle is as black as the rest of his fur.[27]
