Mitzi is a reddish-brown and white she-cat with a pointed face, and yellow eyes. Her fur has lighter and darker patches of color.

Violet: "Mitzi?"

Mitzi: "Violet, you almost startled me to death! It's not polite to sneak up on a girl in the middle of a good roll in the grass you know!"

When Barley and Ravenpaw come to Violet for help with the rogues, Violet takes Barley and Ravenpaw to see Mitzi, saying that she might know more about the rogues. Mitzi is surprised when Violet arrives while she was rolling in the grass. Violet introduces her brother, Barley, and his friend Ravenpaw, and says that they wanted to know more about the rogues that used to live in Twolegplace. She sadly tells them about how the rogues had taken her son, and that he had never been seen again. Mitzi recalls trying to follow their scent, but she doesn't dare go too far. She explains that BloodClan is recruiting new cats after Scourge's death and the end of his leadership. Violet begs Mitzi to take them there, but Mitzi isn't sure if anything can be done. Violet explains that more cats would help them deal with BloodClan once they knew where they live. At last, Mitzi agrees, and takes them to BloodClan's home. She points out the cats on guards, one of them being Snipe, who had recently been stealing prey from ThunderClan, before she leaves. In the end, when the ThunderClan patrol fights the rogues and win, they find Mitzi's son Fritz, thus Fritz is freed from the rogues.
