Mudclaw never formally appears in any of the books, but is mentioned by his mate, Lizardstripe, in a talk with the ShadowClan leader, Raggedstar. Lizardstripe remarks that if toms could have kits, she would have made him have them himself. He is not mentioned nor seen again.
