Pebbleshine's Kits[]
- When Coco leaves, Olive apologizes to Pebbleshine for what happened. Milo introduces her as Olive, and Pebbleshine introduces herself, asking what is wrong with Coco. Olive tells her Coco is always causing trouble, and asks Pebbleshine if she is fine and if she is hungry, though Pebbleshine protests, telling her she is not willing to enter a Twoleg nest. The black-and-white kittypet is confused at the word Twoleg, asking if she meant housefolk, and if she has her own den. Pebbleshine replies Clan cats do not live with the Twolegs, making Olive more confused. When Pebbleshine agrees to Milo's offer to show her where she can get water, Olive tells her to follow them and they squeeze under a fence. After she drinks, Olive asks if there is anything else they can do for her, and Pebbleshine starts going on about a monster camp she needs to find. When Milo tells her they know a place, Olive tells Pebbleshine it is near where the Twolegs treat the sick and injured cats, and after Pebbleshine expresses her shock, Olive offers to show her. Though Milo at first is reluctant, Olive manages to convince her friend to take Pebbleshine there, telling him helping the queen will be an exciting adventure.
- Olive suggests eating first, which Milo agrees to. She offers for Pebbleshine to join them, but the queen politely declines. Olive and Milo crawl under a fence and Pebbleshine sees them appear with a female Twoleg, and the two kittypets affectionately rubs against her, and at last, broke away to Pebbleshine. Milo starts to lead but Olive has a different opinion, and she ultimately agrees with his route. They lead Pebbleshine towards tall grass, and Olive asks Pebbleshine if she lives in the monster camp, and the speckled she-cat replies she and her Clan does not, leading Milo to question what a Clan is. Olive asks about the kits' father, and Pebbleshine explains about Hawkwing, which arouses the black-and-white kittypet she-cat's interest. She meows she wants to be part of a Clan as well, and after Pebbleshine explains about Darktail and the bad cats disturbing SkyClan, offers for her to become a kittypet with her and Milo. Pebbleshine rejects this offer, and explains about daylight warriors, and Olive asks where SkyClan is now. The queen meows they are traveling to a lake.
- They reach the top of the hill, and Pebbleshine sadly tells them this isn't the monster camp she is looking for. Olive and Milo apologizes to Pebbleshine when she meows this is not the place she lost SkyClan. Olive suggests to sleep, and Milo meows he is hungry. Pebbleshine offers to hunt for them, but Olive reassures her that she is able to hunt for herself, but the queen insists. After Pebbleshine returns with a large squirrel, Olive and Milo are shocked at what she caught. Pebbleshine offers to share with the two kittypets, who are hesitant of eating prey, and they eventually manage to eat it. Olive meows it tastes nice, but Pebbleshine meows that she can see they do not like the taste of squirrel. Milo apologizes, stating that he prefers Twoleg pellets, and he and Olive snuggled up beneath bushes, going to sleep. In the morning, Olive and Milo groom themselves and they tell Pebbleshine they must return to their housefolk, offering again for her to become a kittypet, which she declines. They say their goodbyes, and the two kittypets disappear among the Twoleg dens.
