Peaktail is a WindClan warrior.

In the battle between ThunderClan and WindClan, Stripestar intercepts Peaktail while he is trying to attack Tinyclaw and wrestles him down. Moons later, after StormClan has settled by the mysterious pool, Peaktail alerts the Clan to the approach of a dog. Soon after, StormClan settles into a Twoleg nest, where Galestar sees Peaktail and Harewhisker sharing tongues as she pads through. When Twolegs arrive to the den, Peaktail questions what is happening as Stripestar orders the Clan to prepare themselves.

When Goldenleaf tells StormClan about her vision of an endless lake, Peaktail questions who the kits in her vision are, as Fernwhisper and Huntheart had left with their remaining kits. StormClan settles by the lake, and after Stripestar and Tumbletail return to camp following their near-capture by a young Twoleg, Peaktail and Tinyclaw tell Stripestar that Galestar is kitting. Later, following the loss of Galestar and her kits in the storm, StormClan decides that they want to return to the forest, as things are not working out. Stripestar mourns the loss of StormClan, and Peaktail snaps back that there no longer is a StormClan, as it has died with Galestar and her kits. After some time of traveling, WindClan splits off from ThunderClan, and Stripestar notes Peaktail among those who have left.
