Pebblefur is a tom.

In Code of the Clans, he is an ancient WindClan deputy under the leadership of Featherstar. Pebblefur dies painfully because of a strange, agonizing lump in his belly. His former apprentice, Acorntail, takes his place as deputy. It is noted that he was well loved by his leader, Featherstar, and Acorntail says that Pebblefur would have wanted him to be the best deputy he could ever be.
