Meaning: StarClan sends a bolt of lightning across the sky during a Gathering to show that Moth Flight is telling the truth about medicine cats. The stars that rose were the leaders receiving their nine lives, with Wind Runner being the first.
Meaning: Bluestar would become leader and bring peace to ThunderClan. Her power is shown greatly, just like fire blazing throughout a forest, like the prophecy foretells it. However, she dies on her last life by drowning in the gorge. It was also a warning that her relationship with Oakheart (beware) would have ruined her chances of becoming leader, and taking Rusty/Firepaw (the most powerful of flames) into ThunderClan, and only avoided this fate by giving up her kits.*
Meaning: Bluefur should keep Whitekit away from Thistleclaw, as he is dangerous, and will provide a battle-hungry influence for the little kit. As Bluefur succeeds, Whitestorm becomes a loyal, wise, ThunderClan warrior.
Meaning: Tigerkit should have died along with his siblings. He was never meant to survive, as he would do terrible things to the forest later on. This is proved to be true, as Tigerstar brought war to the forest with BloodClan, becoming too ambitious, and almost wiping out the Clans altogether.
Meaning: This prophecy tells of the arrival of three cats more powerful than any before them, and that they are related to Firestar. They are later revealed to be Jayfeather and Lionblaze, Firestar's grandsons, and Dovewing, Firestar's great-grand-niece. However, this prophecy happens before the birth of the Three, so it takes a while for Firestar to figure out who the Three are.
Meaning: Bramblestar and Tawnypelt share the blood bond of siblings. They rose above the rules of the warrior code by interfering with rival Clans, and when danger from the flood, kittypets, and badgers threatened both their Clans, their bond gave them the strength to overcome those obstacles.
Meaning: Firestar has died (burned out) in the fight against the Dark Forest, but SkyClan needs to find his kin (the spark) in order to stop Darktail (the darkness), who seeks to destroy the Clans.[source?]
Meaning: Dovewing and Tigerheart will come to the den of the guardian cats, and Spire has been chosen by StarClan to guide them through the journey to return to the Clans after their kits were born.
Meaning: Although both Spire and Blaze joined Tigerheart's group in their journey back home, Spire died during the journey while saving Pouncekit, while Blaze managed to reach the lake with the rest of the group and joined ShadowClan.
Meaning:Rowanstar is unable to hold ShadowClan together after Tigerheart's departure, going so far to declare the Clan officially dissolved, making the remaining cats (including himself) join SkyClan, giving up their territory to them and renouncing his leader name, all against the advice of StarClan and the Medicine cats. Tigerheart needs to come back and assume the leadership to restore ShadowClan, or else the Clan will disappear forever.
Meaning: A cat with a flame-colored pelt (Firestar) will save ThunderClan (from the treachery of Tigerclaw) in The Darkest Hour and The Last Hope. Bluestar first thought it meant real fire, whichdestroyedthe Clan's camp.
Meaning: This was a warning for Fireheart to beware of Tigerclaw, but Fireheart thought it was Graystripe since they were having an argument at the time. He later finds out it's Tigerclaw when the deputy allows Leopardfur to fight Fireheart in the battle against RiverClan in defense of WindClan and doesn't attempt to help him.
Meaning: A warning for Fireheart that even though Tigerclaw has been exiled, he is still a major threat. Fireheart thinks that it refers to the sickness that the ShadowClan cats had, as well as Darkstripe.
Meaning: Tigerstar united RiverClan and ShadowClan to become TigerClan, and Firestar followed suit with WindClan and ThunderClan to become LionClan. The four Clans become two, and LionClan and TigerClan meet in battle.BloodClan is the final enemy. Scourge kills Tigerstar, but in the end blood does not rule the forest; TigerClan and LionClan unite to drive out BloodClan.
Meaning: Feathertail, one of the journeying cats, drives a stalactite into Sharptooth’s body, sacrificing herself in the process. But at first, the Tribe of Rushing Water believed it was Stormfur.
Meaning: Referencing the three cat's abilities, that being Jayfeather's 'sharp eyes' and Lionblaze's 'roar', his ability in battle, Dovewing (then Dovepaw) will be the one to help return them to peace.[source?]
Meaning: The Clans must find SkyClan, the fifth lost clan (what you find in the shadows), and bring them back to the Lake Territories in order to stop Darktail and allow them to reclaim their rightful place among the clans around the lake (clear the sky), restoring the original five clans (embrace).Alderheart initially thinks that it refers to Violetkit and Twigkit, because they were found among the shadows of a tunnel where Sandstorm's spirit leads them , though it was revealed later that Twigpaw is the one fated to bring SkyClan to the lake.
Meaning: All five Clans must use their signature skills, related to their Clan names, in a combined strategy to defeat Darktail and his rogues once and for all and recover ShadowClan territory: climb and hunt in trees (SkyClan), brute strength and attack power (ThunderClan), speed (WindClan), hiding in shadows and sneaking through undergrowth (ShadowClan) and swimming (RiverClan).
Meaning:Rowanstar's plans to dissolve ShadowClan and make the remaning cats join SkyClan, giving up their territory, must be stopped and ShadowClan needs to be restored, because there has to always be five Clans. Also, most of the ShadowClan cats found themselves unable to accept the situation or assimilate into SkyClan and their opinions clashed constantly with those of Leafstar and the rest of SkyClan cats, causing friction between both groups and giving the impression that they were de facto two Clans sharing one camp, instead of only one Clan. After Tigerheart was resurrected and made the new leader of ShadowClan by StarClan, the newly restored clan returned to their old camp and territories, leaving SkyClan and avoiding more inner conflicts with them, thus ending the "dark sky" and restoring the number of clans to five once more.
Meaning: The Clans needed the help of Tree, a loner who had six toes on one of his hind paws and the power to summon the spirits of deceased cats in order to stop the "coming storm", the inminent disolution of ShadowClan and his merge with SkyClan, that threatens to disturb the lake's balance, because the Clans must be five to continue existing.
Meaning: The other Clans must accept SkyClan and split territory equally to make room for them and avoid disputes in the future. This allows the five Clans to become a democracy and finally live in unity around the lake, marking the beginning of a peaceful era..
Meaning: Bluestar will die on her last life by drowning in the gorge. It was also a warning that her relationship with Oakheart could potentially ruin her chances of becoming leader, and taking Rusty/Firepaw into ThunderClan.*
Meaning: The she-cat is Twigpaw, Hawkwing's daughter, who will help reunite SkyClan with the other four Clans. The five-pointed maple leaf symbolizes the five Clans together once again, and also the flying leaf that Hawkwing followed in order to find the Blood Trail.
Omen: A bright sun shines over the ShadowClan camp, creating strong, long and dark shadows. Tigerheart stands at the edge of the clearing, and the shadow he casts is long and black, far darker that any other in the camp, while at the same time, at the other side of the camp, Rowanstar's figure dissolves into milky light.
Meaning: Same as "Tigerheart's Shadow." Tigerheart wrongly assumed that his father Rowanstar is the sun, and that the vision meant that he need to leave ShadowClan because he is undermining Rowanstar's leadership.
Meaning: The orange sun is part of a painting made on a wall of the Twoleg den where Berryheart, Sparrowtail, Rippletail, and Cloverfoot are living after escaping from Darktail. The group needs to take these cats back with them to ShadowClan, in order to help rebuild the Clan.
Omen: A vision of a torrent of dark water coming out of the WindClan tunnel entrances, threatening to flood the territory. Suddenly, a wild gush of wind clashes with the water, holding it back for a while, but eventually, the wind dropped and the water keep on rushing and gushing out, stronger than before, until it swallow everything in WindClan territory.
Meaning: The white stoats living in the tunnels are a threat to WindClan, which couldn't get rid of them on their own. They need the help of the other three Clans to defeat permanently, or else the stoats would overhelm them and take over their territory.
Meaning: The day will bring an unnecessary death. Later, when Fireheart and Graystripe were returning to their home in ThunderClan, they were attacked by a RiverClan patrol, and in the confusion of the fight, Whiteclaw, a RiverClan warrior, fell to his death over the gorge when he attacked Graystripe.
Meaning: Gatherings are a time of peace, and if there is any violence, StarClan sends clouds to cover the moon signifying their displeasure. This occurs at several Gatherings after the cats start fighting or saying rude things about each other.
Meaning: Brambleclaw (Tigerstar's son) and Squirrelpaw (Firestar's daughter) would find a new home for the Clans, and unite them for the journey. Cinderpelt first misinterprets it, thinking it meant that the two cats presented a danger to the Clan, or to each other.
Meaning:Mothwing, the former rogue, was fit to become a medicine cat apprentice. It was later revealed that Hawkfrost left the moth's wing outside of Mudfur's den so he could use Mothwing's medicine cat status to help him gain power. This made Mothwing stop believing in StarClan, but she was still a great medicine cat.
Meaning: Two things in RiverClan don't fit, and they need to be "swept away" like the dream Mothwing had. This omen is false, as it was later revealed that Hawkfrost forced Mothwing to make up that dream so RiverClan could get rid of Stormfur and Brook, because he is afraid that Stormfur will be chosen as deputy instead of him, sweeping away the power Hawkfrost hopes to gain in his Clan.
Meaning: It was thought by many cats to be an omen that they were doing something wrong or that they didn't belong by the lake.Sol predicted that it would happen but StarClan gave no warning of it, which makes many of the Clan cats afraid and uncertain of the future. However, it turns out to just be a solar eclipse with no meaning whatsoever - unfortunately, falling on the day that Sol had predicted.
Meaning: Lightning will strike the RiverClan camp, causing a dangerous fire that will burn down the camp and force RiverClan to flee into the other clans territories seeking help and refuge, thus ending their isolation and reuniting them with the other clans ; Twigpaw initially fears that it could be the ThunderClan camp, because she couldn't identificate the burning camp as a result of the fire damage. Yellowfang was merely trying to scare Twigpaw in order to wake her up, because she sneaked into the Moonpool and intruded into StarClan territory without permission, although the apprentice missinterpreted the warning at first and believed that Yellowfang was telling her that she didn't belong in ThunderClan.
Meaning: If a Clan falls, the other four will fall as well. Specifically, it refers to SkyClan, which was at risk at the time of being kicked out of their territory by ShadowClan. Ultimately, all the Clans decide to shift their borders in order to make space to SkyClan, allowing them to finall live together in peaceful unity at the lake.
Meaning:Tigerclaw should be the next leader of ShadowClan. The omen is false, created by Jaggedtooth using one of his own claws in order to manipulate Runningnose to choose Tigerclaw as ShadowClan's new leader.
Omen: A horrific vision of the ThunderClan camp during leaf-bare, frozen and covered with snow, with the clan cats starving and hideously thin, at least one of them already dead, and the fresh-kill pile completely empty. Several StarClan cats stand at the edge of the clearing, eyes filled with sorrow and grief at seeing the living cats starve.
